I got into indian food while i was working at an indian restaurant. unfortunately, the food was so pricey there i had to learn to make my own. the point, is that i love this book like whoa, except for the index is entirely composed of english terms and not indian names for items. makes it incredibly difficult to find things when you are looking for "vindaloo" and not finding "goan-style spicy chicken curry." other than that, though, thumbs way up.
