I think we're starting to see the effect of the publishers settlement with the government

Aildiin | 150 comments I was browsing my Amazon kindle wish list today and noticed a bunch of e-books had their price dropped by 10-15%.
They were all books that are only available on hardcover in print right now and were all published by publishers that have agreed to settle in the government lawsuit.( for example Red Country is down to 11.04$ from the original 12.99$,The Forge of Darkness is down 1.5$ too and the price isn't the same on the Nook and Kindle so it must be Amazon exercising their new right to lower price on select titles ).
Still not sub 10$, but that is a progress.

Edit : MacMillan didn't settle but they changes their sales agreement to retailers to match most of the terms of the settlement...
