Onyx and Ruth

" Nope. I'm ditching. See you!" She called. She turned around to give a flirty wink. Then she was gone.

"Goodnight, guys." Alex said to his friends. "I'm gonna head on home."

[Nik]

She was already home when he spoke that sentance. She covered up the windows. She locked all the doors. She curled up and slept. She planned to sleep till the moon passed.

[Ruth]

The next morning Alex drove up to the school.

[Nik]

Jane wasnt there. She was ditching just like she had said.

[Ruth]

Alex sat through his agonizing math class.

[Nik]

Jane was chilling in her house. She couldn't risk getting home late

[Ruth]

When school was finally over Alex drove home.

[Nik]

She stayed where she was ignoring the outside world

[Ruth]

'I wonder if Jane's going to be back tomorrow,' Thought Alex as he was driving.

[Nik]

She waited for the moon to set and the sun to rise.

Alex walked into the classroom at school.

She was in that classroom reading a book silently

"Hi!" Alex said.

She looked up. " hi." She said

[Ruth]

The teacher came in.

[Nik]

She ignored the teacher. She didn't really care what the teacher had to say ever. Yet she got perfect grades.

[Ruth]

Alex attempted to pay attention, but couldn't.

[Nik]

She tuned the teacher out. The teacher was annoying.

[Ruth]

"Alex, can you tell me what the name of Napoleon's general is?" The teacher called out.
Alex came back to reality. "Um..." He said.

[Nik]

She fake coughed the answer out to him.

[Ruth]

"Um... yeah..." Alex said what Jane had said.
The teacher seemed somewhat surprised, and went on with her lecture.

[Nik]

She smirked. Then she went back to ignoring the teacher

[Ruth]

Finally the class was over.

[Nik]

She stood. She started for the door.

[Ruth]

Alex caught up with her. "I'm sorry about last night," He said.

[Nik]

" what are you sorry for? Besides the crappy movie it was fun."

[Ruth]

"You just kind of ran off quickly, I was hoping Todd didn't scare you off with calling you my date or something." Alex said.

[Nik]

She laughed " ya right. I didn't care. "

[Ruth]

"Good," Alex said.

[Nik]

She smiled. She opened her locker and changed books.

[Ruth]

Alex walked down to his locker.

[Nik]

She closed her locker door. She took a sip of her drink.

[Ruth]

Alex wondered why she was always drinking on that drink.

[Nik]

She took another sip and started for her next class.

[Ruth]

the next class was just as boring.

[Nik]

Finally it was the end of the day.

Alex walked out of the school.

[Nik]

She went past him.

[Ruth]

"See you next week?" Alex asked.

[Nik]

" guess so."

[Ruth]

Alex walked toward his car.

[Nik]

She ran. She bolted past him dropping her drink. She didn't notice.

[Ruth]

Alex picked it up. "Hey!" He called after her.

[Nik]

She was already far from the school

[Ruth]

'I'll hold on to it till I see her again, I guess,' Alex thought.

[Nik]

She reached her house

[Ruth]

Alex drove up to his house.

She sat on her couch
