Sierra growled right back " he wouldn't have to get involved if you would've kept quiet."" I don't regret telling him. We can trust him. He isn't going to hurt us!"
" that's unlikely. He's human. You can't trust them. "
" he was understanding about me being a wolf!"
" so you would betray your own kind to save him?" Sierra asked
"I'm not betraying you! I'm fighting for what I think is right! " she said
Alex continued listening to the conversation.
" you're fighting a battle you can't win."" I'm actually offended they sent you. Do they really think I'm off my game enough to lose to your sorry ass."
" I've improved."
" we'll see." Jane said getting into an offensive position. Sierra did the same.
it looked like they were about to start a fight, Alex decided. He felt very useless, just sitting in the car.
They shifted. Jane tackled Sierra who was brown. She but into her quicker then Sierra could react
Alex tried to decide if he should do something.((lol))
Sierra howled. Jane threw her into the wall and shifted back " pathetic!" She snarled
The wolf whimpered and left. She stood smugly. " bitch " she spat
" that was someone who you won't see again. She's too pathetic for them to send her again."
"Should we head back home? Is it safe in there?" Alex didn't want Jane to have to get in another fight.
" the second one. It's safe. Thy only sent her. Cause they apperently assume I'd be out of shape."
"Ok," Alex reached for the door handle.
Alex got out and went around to open her door.
Something didn't seem quite right to Alex, but he decided not to push it.
Alex opened the door to the bowling alley for her.
Alex walked to the counter to pay. Somehow something seemed eerie about the place. Alex ignored it. 'If it was anything,' he thought, 'Jane would've noticed it.'
Alex turned. "Ok, am I just being paranoid, or is something not right about this place?"
" besides the fact that these humans are probably workin for my kind? Nope."
She rolled her eyes " humans are easy. They aren't strong and they are probably just watching us."
"That's good, I guess. So why do they mind me knowing and not them?" Alex asked.
" because your apperently different. These are people who can be bought with greed. They don't see you taking money from them. They are hasty people. "
"I guess, I still don't completely get it." Alex said.
"You're right about that," Alex laughed.
"So, tell me, is the whole thing with vampires real as well?" Alex asked.
She nods " more or less. Stupid bloodsuckers." She said
"Man," Alex said. "This is all really mind boggling."
