"Your time and money will not be wasted on this book and your life will be better for your investment of it! I will be recommending this book to everyone who I can think of.
It is a rarity that you read a novel and find your life changed by it. God reveals so much in Joyce's writing. In this book your eyes will be opened to see how God works in the background of your prayers. While you witness first hand the rebellious lives of the two main characters you also see their prayer warriors never giving up on them. Unconditional love at its finest.
While I don't want to give any of the storyline away I must say you will not be sorry for reading this book. I was encouraged to read my Bible more fervently, to continue praying with expectation and boldness for my loved ones who are living their lives with disregard for God's plan for their lives. I am a better person for reading this book. I have a better understanding of how God wants us to live out loud to be an example so that others are drawn to Him and so those we pray for are continually kept in prayer.

As for the book, well . . . As Christians, sometimes it's hard for us to comprehend the love our Heavenly Father has for us, His Earthly children. Author Cindy Vincent began to realize the depth of His love after caring for several rescued cats and then bringing them into her home. That's when she began to notice the parallels between her relationship with these precious felines and God's relationship with us. After all, as a pet Mom, she works in so many behind-the-scenes ways to make life wonderful for her little feline family, much like God works behind the scenes to make life wonderful for us. Yet much like her cats have no comprehension of all that she does for them, we have no comprehension of all that God does for us. Before long, she began to see lots of parallels, and decided to put these down in the form of Daily Devotions, to demonstrate just how very much God loves us. This story would lend itself well to a discussion group about Christian attitudes to the homeless, and the scripture which refers to 'entertaining angels, unaware.' (Hebrews 13 v 2) The final paragraph packs a powerful punch, I think.

Although I don’t foresee a future this warped ever coming to fruition, or an administration evil enough to conceive a plan even remotely similar, it gives you pause to wonder.
