as everyone mentioned it was a really fun read and a return to form for that series. In the middle of
I have kind of a love/hate thing going with this series but so far I'm really enjoying this one.
I'm starting
today, but so far I'm not really into it. Unlike in the previous books, both main characters on this one sound bland to me :(
I just finished
and while a lot of people I've heard from didn't really like this one I really enjoyed it. I liked that we got to see where the couples are now and what's going on in their lives since being converted and how they had a big get together for a holiday like normal people do ... Completely different from the typical PNR's I've read where they don't even acknowledge the holidays at all....Gonna go onto
next

I'm going to start it soon too , in the next few days. I'm expecting it to be 5 star book for me , I hope I won't be disappointed

*clears throat*
Just had to get that out of my system. Hard Bitten is the next on my list from that series as well, Lauren. I have to make some time for it soon.
And, don't give up on Mercy Thompson... IMO, #3 is where this series really comes into its own.

I had it on my phone without realising it, and started reading it while waiting in line at the bank :-)I've never managed to finish a Maya Banks book, I'm hoping this will be my first.

Despite one or two shortcomings, I'm really enjoying Mercy and her wolves. Looking forward to Iron Kissed - many have said it's their favorite.
Love Merit too! and Ethan as well even though he's an arrogant ass sometimes...(OK, more often than not).
@ Lauren - I really started to love the Mercy Thompson series with the 4th book... Don't give up!@ CarolB - I actually started with Sweet Persuasion...and it's still my favourite of three sweet books (I've read the 2nd, 3rd and 4th books in the series...) I have read so don't give up yet!
What's the difference between young adult and new adult? is it an age thing? or is it a content thing?
I'm listening to Across the Universe which is interesting so far but not sure where its going. I'm reading His Bonnie Bride so far so good.
To add to what Jenny said, most times they feature the "bad boy" (tats, piercing, cocky but can be sweet, issues)
Ok, so they're pretty much normal contemporary romances, but about college age kids who are trying to figure out who they are and possibly rebels, got it. Thanks ladies!I'm not a huge fan of Young Adult romances, but might try out New Adult ones to to see.
I've been forgetting to post. Anyhoo, I've finished
and
(which I loved way more than I expected to)And now for something completely different, I've started

Borrowed Belong to the Night for Shelly Laurenston's "The Wolf, the Witch, and Her Lack of Wardrobe"; but now also enjoying Cynthia Eden's "In the Dark". If I finish the anthology you'll see it on my shelf.
Finished
It's my favorite JAL, I didn't love some of her other books but I did love this one.Started
and I'm loving it already.
Oh, man. Sorry about the headaches, Jenny. I empathize. I've been wanting to read that book forever, too! I don't even know where it is now. Packed away, probably. Most of my books in boxes is driving me a bit bonkers.
Oh, that is a mystery. The trouble with migraines is that there are so many different reasons people get them. Very hard to determine cause.

I've been good lately, Karen. No migraines for me... which is very unusual. But, hey, I'm not going to complain! And you?
Yes! That is good! My mom has just started off having migraines though!
I wasn't well over the past few days but now am mostly recovered:D

My mother suffered terribly from migraines and so does my brother. The medications are so strong they knock them out for 24-36 hours. It is usually food that triggers them - cheese, avocados, chocolate.
Hope you feel better soon, Jenny and Karen.
Yes, food is a definite trigger, Lauren. But, it varies from person to person. Luckily, it isn't avocados for me! Love them. Most cheeses do, though not mozzarella. Feta cheese, however, is like a bullet to my head. Figs, too. Also, sometimes it is barometric changes. Unfortunately, I can't control the weather.
Lisa Kay wrote: "YAlso, sometimes it is barometric changes. Unfortunately, I can't control the weather. "My father's appendectomy scar reacts to the barometric pressure - he always knows when its going rain (or maybe he can control the weather, lol!)
Done with
Its only a novella but its really good and the excerpt from the next book got me hooked. I'm tempted to read all Spindle Cove books before the next one come out :)
