Oh Jenny, I'm so sorry about your kitty. One of ours went to the vet Friday. She's on life number 5. And after her visit Friday, she's now on a kitty laxative and prescription food.

I am so lucky! I have just started them ...

No, I so rarely do that, but next time I drive anywhere I'll know who to look for. Thanks for the tip! I guess I could just listen to a book at home - it's not against the rules, is it?Does it count?
Lisa Kay wrote: "Sure, it counts, Chris. Definitely."Does that mean I'll be able to read and chew gum at the same time (i.e. I won't need to move my lips when I read)? :-)

Rationally I know it was better for her because she was in pain, but I was just utterly devastated. ..."Luna was hit by a car last spring and they didn't think she'd make it. We had made the decision to put her to sleep and when we called to tell them the doctor said she had made a big improvement. The accident broke her hips. They told us she'd probably have problems the rest of her life. When she came home, she walked next to the wall to walk straight. She's been near death a few more times since then and last week she was growling all the time cause she was constipated....due to the accident. They warned us she would have litter box problems. I don't know what we'll do when the day comes that we have to put her to sleep. Luna is my middle daughter's cat. And my middle daughter didn't like any animals for such a long time.
Once again, I'm sorry about your Emmy :(
Hiya JennyThat second cover almost fooled me. Is that steam-punk series any good?
I'm reading
(being reading a lot of m/m this week) and listening to
but have put on an in death to go to bed to but am wide awake.
After finishing
(children book) and
(a clean Harlequin romance) I need something with a little bit of spice to it , I started reading
Oh! And I'm reading
. I'm soooo behind on my reading. My Hubs came home Sunday and will be here for a few weeks.

I think I'll look into it too next time I got to bookstore, the premise sound fun :)
I'm reading
and it is suppose to get returned tomorrow, lol it's either stay up and finish it tonight, or turn off the wireless.

I'm almost finished with that!
Haha you could say that, I got 7 books so far, 4 of them before the release date, I luuurvv my netgalley account
Oh, Jenny, I bought
from audible.com last night. It looks really good. I worked it into the April challenge.

So I'm always lurking in this thread and getting good ideas on interesting things to read (or sometimes things to stay away from). I've decided that I feel like I should become a contributing member of society. To that end I just finished
which I liked but didn't love like other in the series. Just started
which I'm loving so far. Up next is probably
since I've had it forever and I finally listed it in a challenge so I'd actually read it. And I'm still hoping to fit in
for another Highlander read.
Just finished:
by Heather Snow. It was excellent! Bright and heroic characters - can't wait to read her next one!
Finally finished The Sun Witch, book 1, and have skipped over to The Star Witch, book 3, by Linda Winstead Jones since they are library reads. Luckily found The Moon Witch 2nd hand so the trilogy will eventually be read. Also planning to buy Wild Invitation and Twice Temped next week.
I'm in the middle of
and I keep stopping to look at the cover cause I think the guy on it is extremely hot lol
Lisa Kay wrote: "LOL! I do that kind of thing, too, Susan! What trollopes we are!"Glad to know I'm not the only one LOL I've even flashed the cover at my 20 year old daughter to get her impression. She agreed ;)
Finished
, really enjoyed it. The last story now has me rethinking all my thoughts on who is The Ghost. Cannot wait for
!Just started
Loving it so far but there's so much history in it I keep going online to look up the real story.
