I saw it Walmart yesterday. Any good?"

Yes it is so far. I'm still in the first few chapters though. But Medeiros usually never disappoints me :) I've been interested in this hero since meeting him in The Pleasure of Your Kiss (Burke Brothers, #1) by Teresa Medeiros so I'm already intrigued

ShoSho (shoshost) | 12263 comments I'm still on my C book , it's so sad and a tear jerker , I can't read more than a few page each day!

Is the DD book any good?

message 256: by Susan (susayq ~), Moderator (new)

Susan (susayq ~) (susayq) | 6062 comments What are you reading for C?

The D book was ok. It was kind of slow and dragged in some spots. But I liked the hero, Colt. He had such a loving side under his gunfighter gruffness.

Carrie (icanhasbooks) I started My Favorite Mistake (My Favorite Mistake, #1) by Chelsea M. Cameron last night, only a few chapters in, so far the characters really annoy me. I hope it gets better.

I'm doing pretty good today. The sun has finally snuck out of hiding. I'm so sick of rain and cold.

You'll have to let me know how Bridget Jones's Diary is. I've seen part of the movie and liked it.

message 282: by Elishia (new)

Elishia | 2620 comments Ih I might read it then. I know what you mean I've been suffering with panic attacks and agoraphobia for a few years and lately I seem to have read quite a few books where people have had the same, makes me feel a lot better.

message 283: by Carrie (last edited Feb 20, 2013 06:45AM) (new)

Carrie (icanhasbooks) I get panic attacks alot too, lately not as much as they use to be. There would be nights when I would get them in bed, and I would just lay there trying not to go to sleep out of fear I wouldn't wake up.

message 284: by Elishia (new)

Elishia | 2620 comments No I haven't heard of that i've just added it.

I was hoping they would just go but I guess you have to learn to live with them. It was when I started getting them at home that I realised they were bad and finally went on medication. I haven't had a proper one in a while but that's because i'm to chicken to go far from my house and haven't been on public transport for about 3 years (which is essential in London). It makes me feel a lot better when I know other people understand and still get on with normal life, I haven't even been able to work in ages and I miss it (probably won't say that once i'm back at work).

message 285: by Carrie (new)

Carrie (icanhasbooks) Sometimes I just need someone to talk me through them, just have someone ramble on and on about pointless things. Like this is how you make a birdhouse, this is how you give someone a perm, just something to take my mind off of it.

Diet and sleep is another key thing, I found that if I go a while with not the best of eating habits with a mixture of not getting enough sleep I get them. Water is important too. When people talk about death I can get them (obvious fear of dying here) I can read about it, or mention it myself, but if I hear someone else talk about it, usually when talking about heart attacks/stroke, they can trigger one.

It's harder when alone, I successfully talked myself out of one a few weeks ago.

message 286: by Carrie (new)

Carrie (icanhasbooks) I've watched many a infomercial during the night times ones.

message 287: by Elishia (new)

Elishia | 2620 comments Jenny I think yours would be worst because its not something you can avoid. I don't even no the reason I started getting them which I think made it worst for me. Same here with the infomercials. I think the talking helps distract you, I have to talk on the phone every time I go to the shop otherwise I start waiting for it to happen which makes me start panicking.

I haven't thought about diet, I know if i've not had much sleep I won't even bother going out because I know it will happen. But my sleep is seriously messed up at the moment, although it does usually sort itself out after a while.

I actually liked it, i'm not always sure with spin offs but needed it for a challenge so thought I might as well. Its set in the same world with a few familiar characters but 25 years before and its YA. I really like Parasol Protectorate though.
