Lina | 5563 comments Hi guys!!! Sorry long time no post!!

I've not been getting much time to read as I'd like, but I'm going through a serious erotica phase at the moment. I think it has more bang for my buck (pun intended) in the time I get to read.

If any of you have any recommendatijons for good quick reads, I'd love to hear them!

Carrie (icanhasbooks) I was reading Curse of the Gargoyle by Tara Nina but I had to dnf it like 26% or so. It really wasn't holding my attention. And the sex scenes where making me laugh.

So I decided to start Chance Assassin A Story of Love, Luck, and Murder by Nicole Castle instead. Haven't got far in it, as I feel asleep on the couch.

Oh I love Wallflower series, Jenny, which remind me I haven't read Again the Magic (Wallflowers, #0.5) by Lisa Kleypas , its sort of prekuel, I think, the heroine was sister of hero from It Happened One Autumn (Wallflowers, #2) by Lisa Kleypas

I'm anxious to hear what you think of the Kresley Cole you're reading. I haven't read anything by her except her Immortals series (which is great!).

Susan, Not that you asked me, but I liked the Kresley Cole historicals. They were some of the first HR I read as my gateway was PNR/UF. If you like the early Immortals books (especially the Lykaes - the heroes are Scottish) then I think you'd like the historical trilogy too.

I love the Wallflowers too Jenny. I had to go straight to the Hathaways as a very intruiging character from the third Wallflower book is the hero of the first Hathaway book. I loved that series too. I still need to read Again the Magic (Wallflowers, #0.5) by Lisa Kleypas I didn't realize it was related to the Wallflowers.

I had picked another book for the scavenger hunt, but it didn't have the bonus word. Then, I got to thinking about it and I didn't really feel like reading the book I chose, so I pulled up Heart of Iron just to see if the words were in it and I lucked out LOL

Nichole | 512 comments I LOVE Lisa Kleypas! I haven't tried Kresley Cole or Laurann Dohner yet, but they are at the top of my tbr.

I just finished Archangel's Consort (Guild Hunter, #3) by Nalini Singh . It was 3-3.5 stars for me. She is a great writer but I'm ready for a new couple. Looking forward to books 4 & 5.

I'm reading The Siren (The Original Sinners, #1) by Tiffany Reisz again for a buddy read in another group. This series is amazing!

I also started Forever Fae (Forever Fae #1) by L.P. Dover to use for the double decker challenge. But if it doesn't get better in the next 25 pages I'm changing it to Fallen Too Far (Too Far, #1) by Abbi Glines .
