Yeah, I honestly don't know why I kept reading after book 7 or 8. They were already going downhill but I was still invested in the world and the characters. I read this one more just to see how it would end rather than any real desire to read it. Thank heavens for the public library so at least I didn't waste my money and my time. :)

Oh man, I loved the Lords of Deliverance series but parts of it were so dark.I finished
and really liked it. Started
earlier today, so far so good.
Agreed Jenny, I liked the little girl Kate, but my interest in her wasn't enough this time to make me go on. It was moving at a snails pace, with time jumping. One paragraph it's in the past, the next we where in the present time (well for the book).
Loved the last two Harlequin Presents I read. And now I'm reading
if you're looking for a dirty talking alpha male, this is it ;)

So not as good as the first one?
Jenny, you should start that series. It's improved as its gone along. This one had a lot of action and was a touch angsty. And there's a bit of humor in them. It's always nice to see alpha-males let go of the seriousness sometimes :)

Maybe whoever wins it could share it with the rest of us so we could all enjoy more time with more books lol

I had to DNF
, I couldn't feel the characters and plot !"So what?" was my only thought when reading it !I started
which grabbed me right away and I read half the book in one seating !
I got distracted by
and am 40 pages from finishing... Also have to finish
since I borrowed this series from a friend... Still hope to juggle in
soon.
