Jacob (paulsen) | 245 comments I started reading The Last Lecture today by Randy Pausch. Already its causing me to reflect a little on what my last lecture would contain. He said he focused on what was unique about him and his life that he could contribute. That is very difficult self-introspection.

Linda (revlinda) | 7 comments Yes, I totally understand. I haven't read that book yet, but I have been making my way through The Greatest Salesman in the World by Og Mandino - one scroll a month. Last month's saying was, I am Nature's Greatest Miracle - about the uniqueness of each of us. And I keep pondering about what it is about ME that is unique AND marketable! And this month's scroll is I will live this day as if it is my last. Sounds like similar themes to what you are exploring here.

For sure. I love how you used the word marketable! We are all remarkable and marketable! I love Og Mandino's work also

Dale Tan (frostier) | 3 comments I've read and finished the book for quite some time now. The only strong part that I remember it well was the time he mentioned about wall, brick walls.

the brick walls are there for a purpose. It is to show how much you want the thing.

Randy Pausch was a great man. I learnt a lot from the book.
