Just stopping by to wish everyone a happy New Year! I'm Kitiarablue on Bookcrossing, though I haven't been very active there lately... 2013 will be my year to change that! Hoping to get to know some of you on here as well!

Hi There Jessica, and Happy 2013! Hope to see you over on Bookcrossing. My BC name is imawinn2. I was getting quite a bit of reading in until I picked up The Brothers Karamazov. Turning out to be quite a long read. :-)
Nice to meet you both! I had a pretty good year for reading last year, (for me!!) and I've set my goal to surpass that this year. I do miss Bookcrossing though, just haven't had time to keep up with it. Now it's one of my resolutions! Deb, have you read Crime and Punishment? I had a bit of trouble keeping up with the names, and a friend recommended The Brothers Karamazov so I'm wondering if it's similar in style...

I have the audiobook version of Crime and Punishment downloaded on my ipod. It will be one of my upcoming "reads". I like The Brothers Karamazov but it is not one you can read quickly nor should you. I find myself wishing I had opportunity to sit in on discussions about this book and its characters. I still may pick up a Sparks type book to read along with it. The classics are like finding a fine, dark chocolate in the candy bowl of books. Meant to savor. ;-)
