Although I only managed to read 6 of my owned TBR books last year, I'm happy to try again. This year with a more realistic goal of twelve!

Anna Karenina
I keep meaning to read Anna Karenina. It's been on my shelf for a long time now. I think I bought it at the same time as War and Peace which I read over the course of about a month several years ago. I have it as an e-book as well, so I might actually get around to it. I think it's just I've had higher priority reads.
Me too, Tim. My copy has been staring me down for years. I have a friend who is a huge Tolstoy fan so I'm going to do my best to get it read this year.
It came out in November, starring Kiera Knightly as AK.
I think I'll skip that one, thank you very much.
It didn't have a very long run.
I can't bear Kiera Knightly. And I certainly can't imagine her as Anna Karenina.
The trailer ran for weeks on goodreads, but it must have been a US-only ad. :P I wouldn't mind seeing Jude Law in period costume...
Wooden, and full of teeth.

I loved her in "Bend it like Beckham", but mostly because it was the other actress who was so good (and who even made that lump Jonathon Rhys whatsit bearable), and now I can only picture her in Pirates of the Caribbean.
