Molly | 3 comments Well actually I just listened to "Tribes, we need you to lead", by Seth Goodin. It was about social change and how its happening in our day. I found it to be interesting, but not really my style. By that I am saing the author purposes to make change you have to start a movement based on a belief of some kind. In my little world-I guess I am pretty moderate unless pushed to the limit or backed into a corner.

Mike Torres (recalcitrantmisanthrope) | 8 comments Thank you, thank you for some life out there. Two things to answer to. Right now I'm reading The Tin Drum (absolutely amazing, a very terse set of ideas about how germans were hated to a ridiculous level after WWII), The Myth of Sisyphus (Even though I am a little skeptical of it, it comes at the right time in my philisophical readings) and The Ancestor's Tale (An explanation of evolution loosely based on Chaucer).

How are the Magic Treehouse Books? The kids at the school I work at are in love with them. We even got a grant from the author. That was off topic.

Seth Groodin. Who is he?

Sorry, Mike I never check this site for messages, but the Magic Treehouse books are Awesome, very educaitonal and fun to read. I am also reading The Ancestor's Tale, or at least I WAS, until I got distracted by my calculus class, and my kids, and well Life in general, it's a good read so far, what else are you reading now? I just read 3 books by F. Scott Fitzgerald, and one by Steinbeck, and now I'm back to science with The Life of the Cosmos. . .
