Seconded as well (or would that be thirdiered???)
Margreet wrote: "Understanding Comics: The Invisible Art"I've already read that one, but I think it could make for a great discussion.
Dora wrote: "Dark Thoughts by André Franquin"Hi Dora. That's a great book but unfortunately it hasn't been translated to English so most members of the group won't be able to read it.
Could you choose another book?
(If you want to choose another European book you can check out this site to see those who were translated: http://www.eurocomics.info/ )

That was already done in the past fall."
That's right. You can choose another book Kris.
Understanding Comics: The Invisible ArtIt might be good for the people who haven't been into comics for a while and want to step back into them.

It's already been suggested Maureen. You can pick another book if you want to. :)

LOL sorry about that, is there a list of previously discussed books?

Oh, I see. I thought we were voting on the compiled list. I will rethink the decision. :)
I'm really sorry, I thought I've seen an english translation on amazon (and thanks for the link, it helped a lot). My next pick is Judge Dredd: The Cursed Earth and I'll use this opportunity to second Green Arrow, Vol. 1: Quiver
'kris wrote: "LOL sorry about that, is there a list of previously discussed books?"Click on the bookshelves for the group and you'll everything we've read.
'kris wrote: "Elephantmen Volume 1: Wounded AnimalsI think this one could be fun to discuss."
seconded... errr fourthed?
I've been meaning to give this a try for a while.
Elephantmen, Vol. 1: Wounded Animals
Friends with Boys it's a pretty good graphic novel that I enjoyed reading and I think others would enjoy also.
The Flash, Vol. 1: Move Forward The first collection of the best of DC's New 52, filled with lovely Eisner-inspired art and a great sci-fi story.
Xandra wrote: "Johnny the Homicidal Maniac: Director's Cut by Jhonen Vasquez"Read that series before, it's hilarious if you like gallows humor
Lots of great choices people, might I add...
and it has nothing to do with the fact that i just bought it, no really... heh
