I was thinking of asking if there might be a spin off series for the Blood of Eden books the way there is one for the Iron Fey series.

Ohh, that's a nice question. I'd also like to know how did she come up with the cruel world of the Blood of Eden series? What's her inspiration in creating the characters? Is Zeke somehow smilar to Ash?

I'll look forward to the pictures!!! :)

Kate (kaitlins16) My mom is on the phone with my brother, and they were talking about how he works and/or goes to school near Powell's bookstore in Portland. I'm a little upset with them right now because a) my brother gets to visit a bookstore I really want to go to, and b) my mom decided to torture me with all of her talk about how I would love to go there.

I live in Oregon, and I've been to Portland before, yet I have not yet been to the bookstore I want to visit so badly.

Today was spent mourning the death of Cory Monteith (idk how to spell his last name), also known as Finn Hudson on Glee. It's really tragic drugs can do to a persons life. He was my idol and I've now used up two boxes of tissues for someone I've never even met!

What are you thinking about buying? Need any suggestions?

message 2298: by Kate (new)

Kate (kaitlins16) I actually decided to not go with Amazon. The whole point was so I could order Shadow and Bone (I won a copy of the sequel and it got here today) and I didn't feel like spending over $25 to get free shipping. I hate paying shipping costs and avoid them if at all possible.

Got the one book for seven bucks at Abebooks and it should get here in a few weeks.
