30 thousand people on the streets, and the number keeps growing (an hour ago, there were only 2 thousand)! So far, it's peaceful. Just hope it stays that way

Hey everyone, the annual student exchange is gonna start in our school soon and this time they're taking us to Denmark! 40 people will be chosen! To get selected u need to compete in various rounds! The first is an essay writing thing and the topic is "Why do u think ur the right person for the exchange?".
I've thought abt half the essay but it would be awesome if you all could give me ideas to make it better! :) Story writing is more my forte so I really need ideas to make such an essay amazing!

Celebrities seem to think that naming their child something weird is unique and makes them stand out.
Yeah, it makes them stand out, but for all the wrong reasons. They're going to get so many jokes made about their name.

It'll be up later today. Right now I'm at the orthodontist with my son so he can get braces (poor guy), but I'll post the challenge when I get home:) Hope you guys are ready! It's a big challenge with a lot of prizes! :)

Ooh, the challenge sounds great!

And my sympathies to your son, I wore braces for some 8 years and had jaw surgery on top, so I know first hand how awful braces are, but the final result is so worth it!

Awe thanks. It does sound like you had a bad experience. 8 years and surgery...yikes! My little guy has to wear head gear as well as his braces, but luckily he only has to wear the gear while he sleeps. He's getting an expander also, but he will be done with all of this (stage 1) in about 18 months. He will probably get stage 2 when he's a teenager (and that better take a long time to get here!).

It wasn't bad, I just got used to it, and the dentist was really nice. What happened was that new issues popped up every couple of years, then I chose to have surgery, and after that it was just the finishing touches
