Novel (velsanchez1) | 2886 comments I finished Once Upon A Time season 1 last night and I'm like: "where the heck is the happily ever after?!?" hahaha, I'm going to watch season 2 tonight. I think most of the OUAT guys are hot. =p

message 158: by [deleted user] (new)

Novel- I love once upon a time. It is one of the shows I make time to watch when it's on.

I'm addicted! I'm monitoring OUAT tags in tumblr... The fandom is quite overwhelming but it's really awesome. There are so many pairings to choose from! haha

message 160: by [deleted user] (new)

What I like about OUAT is how the characters develop over time. It's a great show with a great cast.

I agree, and the story weaving is really good. I'm impressed with the writers of this TV show.

message 162: by [deleted user] (new)

I thought it would be hard to keep track of the time period and which setting they were in during the show.

I thought so too, but the transitions were seamless and not confusing. I'm looking forward to watch season 2. Who are your favorite characters so far?

message 164: by [deleted user] (new)

I have to say Emma and Snow. But there are two from the current season I Love. What about you?

I like Emma and Regina... I also like Snow because she's a bad-ass. I have a question, is Pinocchio (August) still alive in season 2???

Hot guys? Really? I don't see one there. Oh, i remember I like the bf of Red riding hood.

message 168: by [deleted user] (new)

Novel - not going to say anything about Pinocchio.

Jona - Snows husband is on the cuter side and there are a few cute guys in the current season (don't want to name who because some have not seen season 3)

message 169: by Jonababez (new)

Jonababez | 2453 comments That's great! But I'm a bit sad of the second season 2 because of Rumple. I really like that he has united with Beauty. And it makes me sad that he chooses power than love.

message 170: by [deleted user] (new)

Just wait, he is great in this season.

I understand... poor Gepetto. Anyway, I liked August in season 1! I finished season 2 episode 9 last night... waaah, I love Hook! haha

Rumple-Belle is one of my favorite pairings... They are still together in episode 9, so... NO SPOILERS JONA! =p

message 175: by [deleted user] (new)

Novel I agree with you on that pairing they are great. I also like Snow/Prince and I would have liked a Emma/Hook relationship to happen.

YES! I'm crossing my fingers for Emma-Hook to happen, BUT, since episode 1 we see flashes of Henry's dad... Oh, this may sound really weird but I like the Mulan-Aurora ship, hahaha.

That does not sound weird. The relationship that those two have is great. I would like to see more of Henry's dad.

Yay, thank you. I think it was really sweet of Mulan for protecting Aurora and retrieving her heart. =D

In OUAT everything is possible, that's why the fandom is crazy! Do you write fanfictions? I've seen a lot in tumblr but I haven't read anything yet. I want to catch up with the episodes first before choosing a fanfiction pairing.

LOL, i'm such a nerd.

message 179: by [deleted user] (new)

I don't write them but I do when them when I have time. And it's hard finding time right now. It's my last semester of college and I have two internships. But picking pairings is always hard for me cause I tend to like a few.

I agree, in OUAT there are a lot of good pairings. Who will you pair Ruby???

If I find good OUAT fanfics I'll let you know. =)

message 181: by [deleted user] (new)

I don't know who I would pair Ruby with....

Thanks, I would like to read some!

I'm doing the Winter White Challenge and the Story-Telling Challenge and I'm really behind on both of them. Don't worry about it! I've been doing challenges since August and there are still times when I'm in over my head :) You can always change your goal if you think you set yours too high. I think I'm going to have to do that with the WWC.

Rachmi | 4882 comments Mishma wrote "I know how that feels Rachmi. When I was new in goodreads and just joined challenges,it was a headache."

Glad I'm not the only one, Mishma. I was so excited I set 10 books for each reading challenge while I joined 2 reading challenges from 2 different groups. In the end I just read the books without feel it.

message 196: by Rachmi (new)

Rachmi | 4882 comments Jalyn wrote: "I'm doing the Winter White Challenge and the Story-Telling Challenge and I'm really behind on both of them. Don't worry about it!"

When I realize I set my goal too high I change it. And I kind of felt sad I couldn't finish it in the first place. But I think it's better than if I just read the books without feel it just so I can finish it.

message 197: by Greta (new)

Greta (goodreadsgreta) | 4545 comments Rachmi, Mishma, we don't want the challenges to drive you crazy! They're just for fun. that's why we also pick a winner now by raffle...so even if you don't have time to read the most books, just participating gets you a chance to win a prize. You are right! It's awful just reading books mindlessly for competition. Adjusting the goal is better :)

Rachmi | 4882 comments Greta wrote: "Rachmi, Mishma, we don't want the challenges to drive you crazy! They're just for fun. that's why we also pick a winner now by raffle..."

It's just my thought Greta though I kind of glad there are people who have similar felt like I did. I never think the challenges will make me crazy. I think I just need to adjust my self since I never join it before. And when I realize I didn't enjoy it, I adjusted my goal. Even after I realize I still couldn't finish it, I still want to join it.

My first experience didn't stop me to join another reading challenge, though. You'll still see me in next reading challenge, Greta :D

message 199: by Mishma (new)

Mishma I understand Greta.Nowadays challenges have become part of my routine.I am just talking about what I felt before.Remember the Bolt from the Blue challenge? Now that's where I got my headache. But I learned to take the challenges for fun.

message 200: by Rachmi (new)

Rachmi | 4882 comments Agree with you Mishma, it's just my first experience yet it didn't prevent me to join next challenges. In fact I want to join it again for next month. It kind of help me to know that book I'll read next.
