Oh, and congrats, Jona! That's always a great feeling!
21 degrees Farenheit (about -6 Centegrade) and one inch of snow on the ground. ...finally feels like a winter day. I was worried that we wouldn't get any snow this winter.

Did you get the big, fat snowflakes yesterday? I watched them fall while I was waiting at the dentist's office :D

Mmmm sounds yummy. Now I want to bake. Maybe I'll make some cookies tonight :)
Seriously?? The inauguration is not a fashion show and all about who did Michelle's hair!! I did not watch.
Jalyn wrote: "Ok, I give up. I'm pretty sure I have the flu :("Ohh so sorry! Hope it is not the big one:( get lots of rest and drugs:)
Sara, I did not watch it, but I was looking on people.com, and I saw pictures...and I thought her dress was stunning...seriously : P
Lol sorry:) i am tired of hearing what the presidency is wearing. If we were rich we would dress that nice, too. But instead all our money goes to higher gas and food prices. Not mad at you Greta:) i guess I am not a fan of the president. It wasn't directed at you. I will just keep my mouth shut:/
I can't really argue with you when you say the inauguration is not a fashion show. You have a point. I should probably be a wiser person and never bring up anything that is remotely political :)
LOL. I don't usually watch any inauguration, but all over msn and stuff is what everyone wore. Should have been more on human rights day maybe, or the new term for the president. I guess they think everyone needs to hear how gorgeous Michelle is. No more politics.
I don't have the same experience with current events as everyone else. It's harder for me to get sensory overload about things and easier for me to filter out what I'm not interested in. We only have Netflix, no cable or satellite tv. I only read what I want on the internet...and all the tv I watch is either through the station's websites or YouTube.
Yeah I need to turn off the cable. This was just the msn homepage on the internet. I don't watch much tv but umizoomi with my 3 year old:)
I just went to check on my 3 year old and he had EVERY toy out and everything was a complete wreck! I exclaimed "This is a mess!!"His response, "I like messes! " LOL!
that's hilarious Greta! ^_^Hanging out at my dad's office... which is a minute walk from Barnes and Noble!!!! Score XD
You're so lucky! I miss big bookstores. I just moved to this tiny town that only has one tiny little Coles. I have to order in books if I want stuff :( Sadness.
I watched the pilot episode of Once Upon A Time season one during my lunch break and I loved it! I'm going to watch the rest of the episodes tonight. =D

I just started season one... so, no spoilers jona! LOL.
I'm cranky cause I am third on the waiting list for Shades of Earth at the library. I'm going to have to buy it.
So cold outside the roads have turned to ice along with the car windshields. So icy you can't even scrape it off. I think it rained. How does it rain in 10 degree weather? It should be more snow.
@Mishma: Congratulations! Leave your link in the blog folder! :) can't wait to see it! @ Sara : how does that happen? Weird!
All the cars in the neighborhood are driving like 2 mph. The road is black and shiny with ice. It wasn't this slick after a foot of snow fell:(
Mishma wrote: "I am feeling jealous of you all.We never get winter here."It is so cold, Mishma! There are places that are colder, though.
Well it's always an average temperature here.It rains frequently and it's sunny the other days. That's all.No other changes.
@ MishmaHere if we get a flurry we are happy :( We didn't even get any snow that stuck this year *sighs*
I wish I had the snow everyone talks about but I live in CA and where I live we only get rain and high winds. So the next 5 days are rain, rain, rain, and more rain. To enjoy the rain I have made up my mind to take down every book record them and organize them by author. My family has all made guesses on how many books I have.
Mishma wrote: "I am feeling jealous of you all.We never get winter here."Well don't be too jealous! I live in Grande Prairie, Alberta. It's been snowing for four months straight, we've probably got another three to go. It's usually sitting around minus fifteen but can easily go down to thirty. I pretty much don't go outside.

Brrr! I like it here in Utah. We have all the seasons pretty much, and about a 3 month winter and usually not below 0 degrees, even though it gets close. I do like having more than one weather pattern.
Jealous of you! I used to live on Vancouver island, and yeah, it rained a lot but never went much below zero. Miss it so bad! Here, you have to be careful of things like touching metal when it gets too cold (you can give yourself cold burns) and you literally can't breath when it gets below thirty! It's horrible!
I'm feeling much better, but now my 5 year old has caught my flu :( Poor little guy. I'd rather still be sick than see my kids like this.
