Sarah, It's good to know that you recognized your need for help and sought it out. Many, many people have food issues! You're not alone. Have faith in you recovery :)

Thanks Greta! I am trying, and I realize that it's not going to be cured overnight. Thank you for the kind words!

You're welcome. Everyone needs to start somewhere. Just take it one day at a time.

message 854: by Tati (new)

Tati I don't think you are terrible person. Much on the contrary, I think you are very brave! It is very hard for the one going through the ordeal to accept that it is a disorder and to get help.

message 855: by [deleted user] (new)

Thanks Tatiana!

absolutely not. no one is perfect, and a lot of us are cowards about it. I think you are brave that you admitted it and you are getting help. Soon you are going to be better. And go spit on their face who dare to tell you otherwise!! :D

I want to be in on ranting services too!!

It takes someone very brave to admit that they need help, So you should be proud of yourself!
I wish you well in recovery. :)

message 858: by Mishma (new)

Mishma You're really brave Sarah. In fact I don't even consider it as an issue. You see,I eat a lot.And I get teased for that.People make it a big issue whether you eat a lot or not enough.Ignore everyone.

message 859: by [deleted user] (new)

Thank you so much guys! You are all my book family here, and I love you! I am getting better already, thanks to everyone's support!

message 860: by Jalyn (new)

Jalyn (jalynnie) | 3827 comments Good for you Sarah! It's really hard to admit that you have a problem and then get help for it. The fact that you did that just shows how strong you really are and that you're ready to change. Keep it up! :D

message 861: by Jalyn (new)

Jalyn (jalynnie) | 3827 comments You know what's a bad idea? Reading a book that makes you laugh so hard you cry when you're with your son at piano practice. Bad mommy! Aaahhh, but this book is just so funny! ! XD

message 862: by [deleted user] (new)

Lolz, Jalyn! That happened to me when I was reading Stacy and Clinton's book. They are such funny people and I love their show What Not to Wear

message 863: by [deleted user] (new)

Samia Ruponti (snoebell92) | 451 comments @mishma, same here. I love to eat. and I eat a lot. I even eat when I'm stressed, and my extended family make fun of it. but I just ignore it. I'd much rather be happy and fat than skinny and miserable. so don't think for a moment that you have to change because people are laughing. in the end, you are the one who live your life.

I have mixed feelings about this show. It's really great, but there are events in the book that I don't want to see on TV.

Tati Mishma wrote: "Just came home from a blood test.My mother is getting freaked out since I am sick a lot."

Well, I do think it might be a good thing to check if everything is in order. That said,I HATE doing blood tests. The worst I've ever done was one where they had to take a sample every hour for three or four hours... I wanted to kill my doctor

I'm watching Percy Jackson and the Olympians with my kitty. Within the first five minutes, I've already seen shirtless Logan Lerman...what could be a better way to spend a Saturday night alone?

I loved the books, but I have yet to watch the movie. I should do that since the next movie comes out this summer, doesn't it?

message 878: by MsLucyYC (new)

MsLucyYC | 42 comments Oh, there's gonna be a next movie? It's been years since the first one though, right?

message 879: by [deleted user] (new)

Yeah, there is a new movie. I totally love Alexandra Daddario as an actress, but think that I would have been a much better Annabeth, just sayin'

message 880: by Jalyn (new)

Jalyn (jalynnie) | 3827 comments I've never watched anything with her in it, but she's not what I pictured for Annabeth.

message 884: by [deleted user] (new)

message 885: by [deleted user] (new)

But seriously, that's why I love the books so much! I've been told a bunch of times I look like Annabeth, I act like her, and well...I'm in love with the guy that plays Percy Jackson. I totally can relate to her

message 889: by [deleted user] (new)

One thing I would like to know:

Why do people in those Proactive commercials always look so good? Who was clear, glowing skin all the time? God, I'm so jealous...:(

message 890: by [deleted user] (new)

Time for me to sit down and read. The 15 month old and 17 month old I babysit are now sleeping. I have been moving and running for the last 41/2 hours.

message 892: by Erin (new)

Erin Latimer | 73 comments Okay this is random, and kind of a rant. I'm on wattpad (a reading/writing website) and I also have one book self published, (mostly because I was posting it a chapter at a time and when people asked for more I could just tell them to buy it if they wanted it all at once). Anyways, one of my readers messaged me and said someone had stolen my book. Like, actually put it up on wattpad saying it was THEIR book. I reported them, but I'm still SO frustrated. They even took my book cover and erased my name. Must try to remain calm...

Erin, you complained, right? hang tight and be calm! I know it feels like someone has stolen your baby (something like this happened to me and I felt like that too) but I hope it will get resolved soon.

message 894: by Mishma (new)

Mishma I totally know how that feels Erin.It has happened to me too.I write Harry Potter fanfiction, and my stories has been stolen not once, but twice. It's awful.

That has been happenning a lot! Even blog posts are being plagiarized! Ugh!

message 898: by Joanna Marie (new)

Joanna Marie (joannacapats) Speaking of fanfiction, I started reading it recently because of a friend. I didn't expect it'll be fun! :) But yeah while myself as a reader got amused, I just hoped the ones I've read were written by them too since plagiarism is everywhere especially that fanfics are usually posted on websites. :(

I saw a post by a blogger that that happened to. She was really mad, and rightfully so. I may not write the best reviews, but it takes me some time to gather my thoughts and then make them coherent for other people. I'd be really upset if someone did that to me. I just don't get people. How do you steal that from someone and think you won't get caught? Eventually someone is going to notice that what you posted as your own is verbatim someone else's work.
