Read this a few years ago and remember liking it. In fact, think I ended up reading a few more books of hers in that same series. Quentin and Nova's story was the most intense, as I remember.

O.o Did it feel kind of like a backhanded compliment?

message 6718: by Jora Jordan (new)

Jora Jordan | 260 comments No. Most of them are older ladies and former teacherss. Was just weard that they were surprised because i don't read fast and still choose to be in a book club. they seemed to like the idea.

Weird. Maybe they were just trying to encourage you? Especially if they are former teachers. Maybe in their experience people who are slow readers usually don't follow through or don't read at all? :)

message 6720: by Jora Jordan (new)

Jora Jordan | 260 comments Yea.. they seemed surprised that I wanted to be in a group that reads. I guess they don't expect any slow readers on things that have a time limit.

message 6734: by Lizzie (new)

Lizzie | 2 comments So, I checked out Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda at my library, read two pages, then, without reading any more than that, bought it off Amazon.

Have you ever done anything like that? Just read a small portion of a book then decided you just had to buy it?

message 6735: by Jora Jordan (new)

Jora Jordan | 260 comments I have bought books because i just had to have them because they had a cool cover picture and title. Ill look up what a story is about and based on nothing else buy it. So i cant say anything against starting a book and having to buy it.

Veena (veenaonline) | 2 comments Are you an erotica writer?

Hi

Are you an erotica writer looking to showcase your erotica story to the world?

As you probably already know, it is not at all easy, for any book – worst of all – erotica books, to get noticed online, by readers who are thirsty for all kinds of erotica books.

So, how do you get people to see your erotica books?

The answer lies with…

http://erotikers.com/

If you need more info, do message me.
Regards.

Veena
