Heyy guys! My name is Jeanny (jeh-nny) and I'm new here haha. I am a huge fantasy nut and I adore SJ Maas, Scott Lynch, and Laini Taylor. Any fans of them in here? Oh, and my newest fave is Katherine Arden (THE BEAR AND THE NIGHTINGALE IS SOOO GOOD). I'm really hoping to get to know you guys. Add me as a friend here and please do check out my blog. :D https://thebookishjinni.wordpress.com
Hello! I posted a review of the Alchemists of Loom and I need someone to fangirl with. I just- aaaaaah! XD Anyone wanna check it out?
Hi! I'm new here and I just wanted to say hi. Looking forward to reading some awesome books! Feel free to add me :)
I've definitely put off writing my midterm essays for my English classes this week by reading books instead...Not even sorry :P
I think my close to 6 month reading slump might be coming to an end, hello everyone! What gets you guys out of a slump?
Because i can listen to them while doing other things. I tend to find myself in those slumps because of a lack of time to read to begin with. A few really good audio books tend to help get me back out.
Hello, guys, my name is Ana. I am new here ^^ I just published my first book and I am so excited about it! Would you like to check it out? Xoxo
Hey guys! I would really love if you could check out and follow my blog and have a look at some of my posts because I work super hard and would love some feedback. Any advice would be greatly appreciated and I'd love to see all of your blogs! The link is: https://bookwonderlandweb.wordpress.com/
So last month there was an event at our library. Week long but on saturday of the event they were giving away comic books and 1 per person and 2 young adoult books. Brand new copies. I love when they do stuff like that at the library. I got new hardback copies of Revolution and Vixen.
Just saw that this book is on sale, if anyone is interested. I haven't read the book, but I think it is popular.Kindle Deal (as of posting):
Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children... by Ransom Riggs for $1.99 http://amzn.to/2uoE9Gb aff
Planning my books for next month and is it just me that never wants to finish a series and just continually starts new ones :o (Also are we gonna do the finish series challenge at the end of this year again? Because I also never want to finish series so I have a back log of stuff I can read lol)

It's not just you Connie. lol. :)
Connie wrote: "I could easily finish five or six series next month, yet I just can't bring myself too :P"Same lol. :D
I found that loads of the series I need to finish are on Kindle Unlimited, which is great for me travelling at the end of this month and the end of next, but also not great because it means my searching has led to me finding like 6 other series to start :P
So I picked up this ARC because I wanted to read it before its publication date. I didn't expect to think anything of it, but I absolutely LOVE it! I'm only about a quarter of the way through, but I can't wait to see what happens next. And @Connie, I do the same thing xD I search for continuations of series I like, and then a recommended feed pops up that shows me more books I feel like I'd absolutely love. It's how I've found some good books, but it's also why my TBR pile is stacked so high!
@Rachel; besides my normal planning for the MMC next month, I have a list of Kindle Unlimited books that I want to read if I have time lol it's so bad
So i joined our library's book club. I figured that would be a good way to kind of branch out and read new things i wouldn't have otherwise chosen. I enjoyed the first book. The Boston Girl. Just started The Witches: Salem, 1692. Heres hoping i finish in time. :)
Bookbuyer wrote: "I use Onenote as well as my bookmarks bar. :)"How does that work for you? OneNot I mean :)
Tati wrote: "I have a group to do that, here in Goodreads"
Yeah I know about those, but I think I need something I can use when I'm on the go etc :)
Onenote works really well for me. I've been using it for a few years now and I still love it.I had a bit of an adjustment period though when my last computer died since the new version I'm using wasn't the same as my last one but if you are a fan of binders it's very similar to that. :)

It is! I used to love binders. I still have like 20 of them even though I'm out of school. :)
There's a big case here in Denmark at the moment. It's been giving me nightmares for two days straight now! So there's this guy who builds submarines and rockets, he's really smart! He's been arrested.
Ten days ago or so, he sailed of with a Swedish journalist. Then the submarine sunk. Like, took in water. He was rescued, but they didn't find the woman. On Monday they found her body, but it was missing legs, arms and head. The police has just confirmed this morning that it was the missing woman.
Now, this scientist guy said that there was an accident in the submarine and that he had to "bury her at sea"
He's been charged with murder (not sure of the degree!)
I'm not gonna judge the man. I'm just gonna say it's some really creepy sh*t!!!! No matter how, and who, this case is just insane. If it was a book, I'd be sleeping with my lights on for sure!
I'm currently reading
Family Magic and am amazed I haven't read this series yet! It's really good and I love the female protagonist, Sydlynn and all the supporting characters. Has anyone else read this? There's over 20 books in the series??
