Maybe you could try 'text-to-speech' or an audiobook? Then you can 'read' whilst you're doing other things ☺
Bookbuyer wrote: "Does anyone know how to get books added on to Goodreads?"If you are a Goodreads' librarian, you can add books. What book do you want added? :)

I was going to ask for this one.
But I found it. It's just not linked to the other books in the series I guess. :/Thank you though! :D

So, Disney announced a live action movie of The Lion King. And I'm thinking , this is going to be a pretty expensive movie, since everything will have to be CGI'd
Tati wrote: "So, Disney announced a live action movie of The Lion King. And I'm thinking , this is going to be a pretty expensive movie, since everything will have to be CGI'd"But wait then it wouldn't be live action would it?
I have no idea, but that's a good question. In order for it to be live action, there would have to be either real animals (dangerous, as we're talking lions here) and/or actors (also doesn't work, as The Lion King has no human characters at all)
Has anyone voted for the Best book of the year yet? I had a really hard time with Fantasy. There were two books that I read this year that were FANTASTIC!

in sci-fi i think? Own quite a few of the nominees but haven't got around to them yet.

for romance."Cool. I only voted in Fantasy and Historical but I only had one for Historical so it was easy. :)
Sarah wrote: "I don't seem to have read many of them at all this year."Me neither. But I did notice that a lot of the books that were from the Cover Hunt were there. :)
Finished reading Obsidian last night, at first I wasn't that interested but carried on reading to see why my closest friend likes it, and in the end I liked it. The ending was unexpected, in a good way, and it just made me want to read the 2nd book more.
Amazon Kindles are on sale at the moment!! Check out the sale: http://amzn.to/2fT8HJL (aff link)(hope it's okay to post this here, I just wanted to share the deal) :)
I hope next year is a better year for me, book-wise. According to GR, my average rating this year was 2.8!
I have a random share, its kind of ugly but.An author on goodreads sent me a book, and I didn't get the chance to read it in a timely fashion.
So he messaged me and called me a 'cunt bitch', I kid you not. He harassed me, insulted me, and continuously told me I need to be on medication, and than told me I am ON tons of medication.
Who seriously says that to a reader?
I reported his messages, unfortunately there isn't a way to block him I don't believe. I understand authors getting upset if you don't read their book faster, or write bad reviews, but be professional.
Ironically enough I was going to be reading the book very soon, now it's going in the trash.
My God Danielle, that's awful. I hope you're okay. Please mention it in your review of his book to warn other people!!! That's totally disgusting behavior.
I'll be putting it in my review in a few days. If I do it now, he'll probably be looking for it and start commenting. That's what he did when I posted a general status update on here about him and his messages, he started commenting right away and I deleted his comment but he basically said "I gave Danielle enough time to read it, I sent her a free book, and I messaged her because she hadn't read it yet" as if he was in the right.

That's awful!! What makes him think you'd want to read his book after that??

If you go to his author page, and go all the way to the bottom, there should be a link to 'block this member' in really pale grey at the bottom of the page. that will stop him from sending you messages, and hide any comments that he makes on your reviews as well. can't believe he behaved like that! its awful!

Thanks Sarah! I did post a review of his book, and he was able to 'like' my review after I blocked him but I don't believe he can comment. I just feel like he's gloating, thinking any attention is good attention. I just hope none of us as readers run into another author like him!
just finished the Divergent Series as my first series to read this year!! Loved it! I really hate the ending of Alligent though. It ruined the plot.
******SPOILERS******It wasn't that I was upset that she died, but more than that, how it happend. (view spoiler)
do you want to put that in a spoiler tab? you type <.spoiler.> without the dots and it hides it for you (view spoiler)

Rediscovering Kpop in the middle of the night like (งóᗜò)งalso getting confused with what to read amidst mood swings.
Thats why i like to read more than one book at a time. No matter what kind of mood im in, im probably reading something im in the mood for.

I set my goal as 50 books to read this year & I'm not even half way. Any tips on how to read a book and a half a week to make this goal?
