Not yet, but if it's that beta version I tested a month ago, then I already dislike it

So many other things they could improve, like the re-read tool, or even getting rid of the html and adopting copy and paste for images

This new stuff sounds terrible. Now I'm scared :O
Its even more annoying on my kindle - updates are way too far on the righthand side so its a bit awkward to scroll down.
And i keep going to the right to update books out of habit!

Have you noticed that on the post about it, they've disabled comments? They knew people hated it but did it anyway.

I noticed that! I went there to complain.
I hate the new page. I only see friend updates and not group.:(

If you have the update, your homepage will now show scrolling updates of friends and people you follow (and your currently reading shelf over to the left). If you don't typically have this layout but, instead, had your Groups as your main page, I wanted to let you know that that option is still in the menu.
To find the old Group Update view:
Click the main heading: Community
From there, click: Discussions
Does this help that Jackie? One of the mods from my other group sent this to all the members. I don't have the new homepage yet so I haven't had a chance to try it out.
Is anyone else having difficulties with the notifications lately? Mine seem to double up. :/

It's really very limiting except for updating books and writing reviews.
The one thing I really like about it is the scan option for books. I don't use it often but it's pretty useful. .-.
If the app is so bad, why don't you open Goodreads through the browser?
I hate that even more! The formatting throws me off. :(I much prefer the site and it usually doesn't give me too many problems but it's been about more wonky the past few months. :/
The app is good for quick check ins and text comments. And messaging. Well it was until my phone stopped telling me about my notifications for whatever reason.

Yup. :)
I mostly use it when I'm out buying books and I'm too lazy to search or type in the book. Another option is if you want a specific cover and don't want to have to search for it. :)
I started my veterinary technician program :) and on top of that I am also being trained as a veterinary assistant at work :D
That's so cool! I'm supposed to be applying to Vet Med school this summer, but I've been second guessing myself a lot lately. :/

Veterinarian. I don't feel like I have enough vet hours to get in. I also just don't want to fill out the application. It's super expensive :/

Why is it that all the books I want to buy are so expensive??I'm not paying US$ 15 for an e-book, sorry.
Wow $15 for an e-book? At that point, I'd rather just buy the physical copy.
I seen a kindle book for £15 the other day, and it was only 200 pages. Ridiculous!
I'll wait for a price drop on that one, that's for sure.
I mean, Empire of Storms, which, according to Amazon, is a whopping 701 pages, will cost me US$ 6!
