Yeah don't put too many books on it. It gets really slow, but I'm reading the books so it should be getting faster.

I have apps on there too and I'm running out room. I have an 8GB, but only have 5GB because most of the apps are the apps that you can't deleted.
I have a kindle fire that I've had for 3/4 years and it works brilliantly, I'm nearly 400 books and like 25 apps on it!
I have my kindle for about a year and I have problems when I have too much stuff on it. I think it might just be the generation I have.
I use an iPad for reading. I'm able to use the apps for Amazon and Barnes and noble and apple and have books between the different apps.
I have a kindle, but ive had it like 3 years and it doesn't work very well and it won't hold a charge for more than a few hours. I loved it when i got it though. My mom has a linex and it seems to be almost the same thing but was about $100 less.
I don't know how you people read on a tablet. I need the actual book in my hand. It is a little more expensive, but I find it a lot easier to read that way. I have read a couple on my nexus though, I hate those "only e-book" books :p especially when they are part of a series
I prefer the hard cover, but my wallet says paperback. I have iBooks, kindle fire, & the nook. I like free books and discounted ones. More books the merrier, and less $$, €€, ££, &¥¥ to spend...

Most people say that, I'm just odd ☺

for me, it's pretty much a necessity. I don't have the space to shelve all the books I read. Besides, I live in a country that doesn't speak English, and importing books is expensive and takes a long time
It's great knowing that your next book is on your kindle and that you don't have to go looking for it, or have to take 2 books with you everywhere!

I might partially covert after this as I'm liking the Kobo quite a lot. ^-^
I found this amazing ASL interpretation of Adele's Hello and I LOVED it! You legit don't even have to know ASL as the actual song plays during it. The interpreter Molly could win an academy award for how well she portrays the emotions of the song! :D
Ive found that bying my books used was a lot cheaper than new and if you make a point to get the good quality used you can't even tell the difference from bying a new one. The only difference is the cost, in some casses it was actrually cheaper than the e-book.
I know I say this for every cover, but this one is my favorite second to The Heir. I just need this book now spare me the time and the wait.

Pretty!

What would guys do if you find a group that is exactly the one you created it. And you co-mod is the one of the head mods of that group? Because I just got invited to group exactly like mind and my one mod is mod in that group. What should I do?
So, I recently started learning Spanish but on my own. I use Duolingo, Memrise (apps) and Language Transfer (podcast) and it's going well so far. I need to watch something in Spanish as well because that's how I learned most of my English it's worked out quite well for me. The problem is I can't seem to find shows or movies that I like in Spanish and if I do, English subtitles are unavailable or the site is not available in my country. I don't think telenovellas are my thing and they're all I seem to find and not even good ones. Can anyone help me with that? And if there are easy books I could read and good songs? Also if anyone speaks Spanish and doesn't mind helping me practice, that would be super awesome! Thanks guys :D
have you tried looking for subtitles on Subscene?I can't help you with TV shows (they're not that popular around these parts, not in Brazil at least), but I've found this list of Latin American movies:
http://www.imdb.com/list/ls003792898/ (some of them will be in Portuguese, so you'll have to check where they were filmed)

Yes, I tried subscene but the ones I tried weren't on there :\
I'll check these movies out. Thanks a lot! :D
hi everyone! So my brother is going to Paris next week and I'm in charge of the shopping list (yay!)!! any suggestions on what he should get? Except wine, that is. all the sites in google just keeps suggesting me that! :/
Just found out that I was mistaken in thinking I had sent a book I now really want to read to my Kindle...
another France query: do any of you know how to get a phone+sim in Paris? I saw some very attractive deals, but all those were for 22 or 24 months. so I was wondering if those can be bought...or they would require any document for those contracts.... :-/
Usually, on European airports, there are machines selling pre-paid SIM cards. They're usually posted along the disembark walkways, so they're pretty easy to spot
Oooooohh! This is a great deal! Get 30% off any print book at Amazon right now using the code. Check it out: http://amzn.to/1NVECll
