Yes. I'll even take a love/hate relationship over nothing or insta love.

Kelly | 1350 comments Random question, do you guys delete your e-books once you've read them on your kindle or do you put them on some kind of shelf? I'm starting to have too many books on it so i don't really know if i'm gonna keep the ones i know i won't re-read.

message 5904: by Tati (new)

Tati The ones I really, really don't like, I delete. Those I enjoyed, I put on collections. Remember that, even if you delete them from the Kindle, they will still be on your Amazon Cloud (if you've e-mailed them to your Kindle)

I forgot about that, thanks. I'll probably delete some then.

I wanted to share this article with everyone. Maybe have a tissue ready cause I had a few tears at the end.

It's a happy article that shows that nurses (especially male nurses) will do anything for the children they care for.

message 5925: by Heather (new)

Heather | 10157 comments Lindsey that made me cry... It hit home for me because I was just released today from the hospital and the majority of the people taking care of me were male doctors and nurses!

message 5926: by [deleted user] (new)

Heather. I hope everything is okay and you are getting better.

It's close to me too because I work with kids with disabilities and they are in and out of the hospital and severe of the nurses are men and they are the best to the kids. True heroes in my eyes.

Samia Ruponti (snoebell92) | 451 comments Tati wrote: "Samia, what is Eid Mubarak?"

lol, it is eid greetings. I'm muslim and today was our main religious festival, Eid-Ul-Fitr. "Eid Mubarak" literally translates to "May the Eid be happy to you".

Irene (raenne) | 4856 comments Thinking about doing a "netgalley only" month... I don't know, I'll probably get bored with my somewhat limited choices, but I really need to catch up again. A while ago my rating was 91%, now it's 72%!! And it'll never stop :P Maybe I should do some children's books again, just to help my rating up

Mira I recently bought a violin and I'm trying to learn through youtube. It proved quite challenging specially that I can't read music and I'm not sure how to tune it yet. Do you guys have any suggestions? :)

You could try this for the music theory part: http://www.musictheory.net/lessons

As playing the violin requires a really good ear and YEARS of practice. As a beginner it would be beneficial to study with a teacher even for a little while to get some of the basics down.

You can also try a beginers violin book. I play cello but some of the beginers books can be very helpful. The best ones will have text as well as diagrams to make it easier to follow. As for tuning, that comes more from just practice.

Thank you Jora! :) So, how are you liking your Cello? I still can't seem to always get the string I want with my bow xD I hit it like 80% of the time lol

message 5940: by Irene (new)

Irene (raenne) | 4856 comments I can't remember the title of this book, can you help me? :)

In the beginning, there's this girl who dreams about a boy. When she walks into her classroom the next day, the boy's there. They may or may not fall in love, I'm not 100% sure. I think it's YA Sci-fi. Does anyone know what book I'm talking about? :)

message 5941: by Tati (new)

Tati It reminds me of Unspoken (The Lynburn Legacy, #1) by Sarah Rees Brennan , could that be it?

message 5942: by Irene (new)

message 5943: by Irene (new)

Cello was a lot of fun. I played for seven years in school. Cant play much since I graduated a few years ago.

message 5946: by Irene (new)

Irene (raenne) | 4856 comments Sorry, no, it doesn't. It was someone on Twitter who knew what I was talking about. I thought maybe it was Under the Never Sky or Obsidian, but I just read the first chapter of the Danish book and it's definitely that one! :D (Leoniderne, Nanna Foss)
I hate when that happens and you just can't remember what book it was :D

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments I feel like I've become a Disney villain lately ever since my cats have started to sleep in my bed on either side of my feet. There's enough room on one side for them both and they do sometimes sleep together but most of the time I find them on either side of me. I shall let you guys know if I develop any superpowers from this phenomenon. lol. ^-^
