Belyas wrote: "hi novel, send warmest e-regards to your grandma. hope she'll be okay soon!"thanks belyas! I feel bad that I couldn't take care of her, but I'm glad that my cousins are there. I heard that her condition isn't serious and that she's doing better now. I just hope she can go home soon, she hates being confined.

I think a pattern inside and plain color outside looks nice, but it mostly depends on the placement of the shelf, how much light it gets etc.

I'm so happy you like it! Sherlock happens to be one of my favorite shows EVER!

Rachmi wrote: "I didn't read any book today because I lost my ereader charger while my laptop broke down :("ouch, is there anyway you can get a new charger? maybe you can borrow from a friend?
@ novel: the only friend who has apple charger is my office mate, today is Saturday so I have to wait until Monday to charge it. I feel I got lost without my ereader, actually I still have tons of unread books but I used to read ebook so kind of forget books. how is it possible?
NOOK help!!! My NOOK all of a sudden went out or something. The screen didn't go off, but it's like a grey-blue color. I plugged it in and the charge is GREEN but I've been reading it so I know it's not fully charged.Has anyone else had this problem and know what to do?

Okay, it says that you should plug it in, hold the n button and then press and hold the power button for about 20 seconds. It is the internet, so I don't know if it'll work. Hopefully, it does!

Sarah, that did it! At least it turned off. I called B&N and they told me to hold down the n button for 20-30 seconds but they didn't say to hold down the power button afterward. At least now the charger is yellow/orange and not green. Hopefully it's charge up and all my books and other stuff will be there. THANK YOU! I'll let you know if it works after it's charged a while.

Tatiana wrote: "Random question:is there going to be a March challenge? I have some ideas for one."
we were going to do just the zodiac and group stat, and then at the end of the month have a two week challenge that would be partners ...
tell us your ideas! please!
I have two:a St Patrick's Day-themed challenge or a Spring themed challenge (since Spring begins in March for North America and Europe)

well...the partner challenge was going to be kind of a spring themed challenge because it's going to be about spring cleaning our TBR shelves...but having a partner to help pick what we read.
maybe we can do a non-reading challenge for st. patrick's day. ...have to think about that :)
I'm so happy! My math average used to be a very sad 85, but now is a 91! So now, my GPA for this quarter is a 98.7!!!!!
Congrats Sarah!I'm trying a new recipe. Chocolate Fudge Sea Salt Brownies!
I can already smell them in the oven, so I have high hopes that they will be awesome!
Thanks! Yum, Greta, those sound AMAZING! Homemade recipe or made up?
I don't either, I like the taste of homemade ones better! Anyway, hope they end up really good!
Greta - those sound great! I also don't use the box ones. I just got done putting my homemade banana nut bread in the oven.
Yummmm, I made maple oat scones this morning! They were absolutely delicious!
Seems like a few of us were in the baking mood today!
Sarah wrote: "Yummmm, I made maple oat scones this morning! They were absolutely delicious!"Yum! I've never tried maple-oat but I have a great blueberry or cherry scone recipe. It uses sour cream.
Lindsey wrote: "Greta - those sound great! I also don't use the box ones. I just got done putting my homemade banana nut bread in the oven."Yum again!
Tatiana wrote: "never had scones...I miss baking (and homemadebrownies)"
Scones are soooo easy! You should try it :)
Ooh, that sounds really interesting. Lol, I love how we're all just talking about baking.
Today's a holiday,since it's full moon today.Our country really has some weird holidays.Not that I am complaining.
Mishma wrote: "Today's a holiday, since it's full moon today. Our country really has some weird holidays. Not that I am complaining."Is the holiday just for the full moon?
Sarah wrote: "Ooh, that sounds really interesting. Lol, I love how we're all just talking about baking."I just get into baking moods sometimes, especially in the winter when it's not nice outside. Then I might not bake all summer, and I'll pick it up again in fall,
Mishma wrote: "Today's a holiday, since it's full moon today. Our country really has some weird holidays. Not that I am complaining."Wow, a holiday because it's full moon? Why? I mean, I still think there's a reason behind it. Anyway, it's also holiday here in our country, but not because of the full moon. :)

Yes.Apparently it's believed here that werewolves will roam around on that day.I am not kidding.
