Louis Arata Pride & Prejudice 4 times
Persuasion 3 -- my favorite
Sense & Sensibility 2
Emma 2
Northanger Abbey 2
Mansfield Park 1

My wife and I have read them all of them aloud to each other. Very fun.

Kirsten I read them all except for Northanger Abbey and Emma at least twice a year. I find Emma as a character too annoying to read and also don't really enjoy the plot in Northanger Abbey but the other books I absolutely love. I never get tired of the novels and always enjoy finding some new feature on rereading them.

Marcy I don't like Northanger Abbey much at all, not my kind of thing. I didn't like Persuasion after two readings, but everyone has lauded it so much I'm wondering if I missed something and should give it another go.

Kirsten Persuasion is my favourite. I love the characters especially Anne. Anne has so much depth and although her personality isn't immediately appealing as say the charismatic Elizabeth in P&P. Rather it takes the whole novel to get to know her as a real person. Alongside that progression is the ongoing theme of a second chance at love between Captain Wentworth and Anne which resonates.

I agree with Kirsten; to me, Anne is a quiet, responsible character who wises up and as the novel unfolds sees that she has been too compliant, probably because of the role her family has always expected her to fill. There is an excellent BBC production of Persuasion with Amanda Root and Ciarin Hinds; seeing it prompted me to read Persuasion a second time and I do think P is the JA novel that I will re-read next.

Wynne I can't count because I don't intend to stop. Persuasion is my favorite, but I have read P&P numerous times also.

Nathalia Pride and Prejudice: 15 times or more
(know it word-for-word)
Persuasion: 3 times
Sense and Sensibility: 2 times, going to be 3 soon.
Northanger Abbey: 2 times
Mansfield Park: once
Unfinished novels: once

Not counting the movies and series I watched.

Mitali Pride and prejudice - 6 times
Unfinished works/Juvenalia - 1 time only
All other books - 3 times each

Kirk All of them at least twice.

Ashlyn Pride and Prejudice once.

Annemarie Donahue PP: five, maybe six.
Emma: twice
NA: twice
Per: once
SS: in the 20s! my fav story to read.

The movies are fantastic! I have the entire BBC collection from the 70s, all the hollywood ones, even the paltrow (BTW Jeremy Northam is something to look at!) and the Clueless version.

Béllà Whenever I feel bored I do, because her books make me feel life again. In Brief, I read P&P about 12 times it's my favorite.

Wynne Did anyone catch the comment from Sheldon on Big Bang Theory? He wanted to pay back his girlfriend for putting down his favorite movie, so he read P&P. He could not use this to payback because "it is a classic and without flaws".

Uzma Nicole D. wrote: "I think I have read them all around five times or more.I usually read them all once a year."

The movie is nothing. Watch the BBC series. You'll love it for sure!

Rosalind I must have read Pride and Prejudice about ten to fifteen times, and the others all only once, except for Sense and Sensiblity: twice.

Nikita Pride and Prejudice so many times that I can't even count
Emma 5 times
Persuasion 1 time
Sense and sensibilty 2 times
Mansfield Park 3 times
Northanger abbey 4 times

Anita Anderson So far I only read them once. However, the firs one that I would think of rereading it would be Pride and Prejudice.

Margaret Nearly once a year since I first read them in my teens. I realize this means 40ish times each for the 6 complete novels.

Sanchita Sarkar I have read Pride and prejudice once but there are certain sections which I read again and again everytime i get to lay my hands on the book like the ball scenes, when Darcy confesses his love, etc. I recently read Sense and sensibility. Loved it. Below is my review on it: http://sanchitasarkar.wordpress.com/2...

Jessica Lost count on Pride & Prejudice but I think somewhere around 4. Maybe 5. Sense & Sensibility 2 times. All the rest only once, except for Emma and Mansfield Park, which are both my least favorites and I can't seem to finish them no matter how hard I try. Maybe it's just that I don't particularly like the Paltrow version of Emma. And Mansfield Park is a bit.. I dunno, I would say vulgar, but it doesn't quite fit. I just dont like it. But I would like to read Persuasion or Northanger Abbey again.

Liz I believe: Pride and Prejudice 5, Persuasion 2, Sense and Sensibility 2, Emma 2, Mansfield Park 1, Northanger Abbey 1. Last read: Persuasion.
