How do you think Christopher could have improved his actions/intentions in this book?

I believe he could have been more supportive when Em was upset. He should have put aside his personal feelings toward Stark and put what Em was enduring in perspective.

Yeah i agree, he annoyed me a lot in all three books, i don't think he deserved Em, he was too judgemental of her at times.

As I was reading the book I was like "Christopher could you be a bit nicer, Em/Nikki IS your un-official girlfriend?" I can't beleive how mean he was saying that Em had "trust" problems who would say that. Personally I would look Christopher straight in the eye and say,"Well that's too bad. Our un-official relationship is OVER."
