Red Harvey (seansgirl329) | 4 comments If you're into paranormal romance/horror, check out my debut novel "Cursed". I'd be willing to gift you an e-copy. Thanks!

http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/13...

Imogen can see the future, not that it does her much good. When ancient spirits haunt her, seeking re-entry into the human world, she struggles for answers. Yet, it's only after the spirits succeed in using Imogen's body as their new vessel that her real journey to save the Earth begins. Imogen's gift makes her vulnerable to spirits that desire reincarnation. When she moves back to Graydon, she begins a new life. And Imogen's new boyfriend seems to know more about her powers than she does... Once another psychic informs Imogen of her impending death, she tries everything she can think of to prevent it, even as she knows that fate is inevitable. Once she's dead, Imogen's true test of character is how she can stop the body-thieving demons from destroying all of mankind. Cursed is the first novel from author Red Harvey, who takes the reader on a journey involving Native American legends, Hernando De Soto, and the world of a new kind of superhero.

Hi Rebecca! Hope you are well.

I'm always looking for new reviewers for my YA series. I can offer epub, mobi or PDF formats to genuine reviewers in exchange for honest reviews on GRS, and Amazon US and UK. ;-))

http://amzn.com/B00A9159GU

"Fast-paced!" "Action-packed!" "Heart-stopping!"

Love the fast-paced action in The Hunger Games Trilogy?
Want to relive the romance of The Twilight Saga?

This exciting new Young Adult series is for you!

'The only three people in the world who I truly loved were my best friend, Ben, my Uncle Spencer and his fiancée, Irene. I am now grateful for what I didn't know on that sunny afternoon. One of them would soon be lost to me. The other two, I was destined to kill without hesitation or remorse.
It wasn't premeditated.
It was what needed to be done.
So I did it.'

Success means love. Failure a death sentence.
When seventeen-year-old Oxford student Emily Baxter steps forward to become part of the search and rescue team for her kidnapped family member, she sees it as her last chance to put things right. Despite her seizures and being ripped between parallel universes, Emily is determined to get back to living a normal life. But first Emily has to join forces with the mysterious Gifted & Talented set and the darkly beautiful Henry Seadon. And survive. Killing the Misery-Makers who get in their way is a necessary evil.

This is the first installment (chapters 1-5) of an exciting brand-new four-part YA action adventure series, INTO THE DARK SERIES #1-4 by British YA author, Milly Silver. It's a story of family, love, loss, and being uniquely gifted.

Many thanks!

Other than that, they're completely different. The Bones of the Earth is a historical fantasy, while One Shade of Red is an erotic parody. You may be too young for it, though. They're both available through Goodreads, or you can visit my blog for links:

Operation Dark Angel is a military operation designed to bring about world peace......or is it? Will it really bring an end to the turmoil, violence and hatred as they were told by the voice? Who is the voice? What is its true nature?

Pam Funke | 20 comments The World at War, Book 2
The World at War, Book 2 by Pam Funke

Join General Alexander Ludlow as he continues on his mission to save the world. At least that is what he thinks that Operation Dark Angel is all about. He is however starting to suspect that this mission is not all that it's cracked up to be. The world is in complete chaos as major nations wage war on each other and the world is on the brink of World War III.

The Group is secretly continuing Operation Dark Angel with much success. Unknown to the rest of the world they are the ones who are behind the strange and devastating attacks on Israel and around the world. What is it that they are really after when they are supposed to be bringing peace to an out of control world?

Italian President Nicolaitanes Balac is steadily gaining political power and recognition. The entire world is watching this one man and wondering if he will be the one to save them from the chaotic spiral that the world is headed towards. Is he really who he appears to be or is he something more sinister? Can he save the world? Do we even want him to? Is this who mankind should rely on for help or will this be the worst mistake that mankind has ever made?

Incidentally, I have just written a blog post about how hard it is for readers to sort out the wheat from the chaff now that there are so many self-published books out there, and that I'm hoping to find a way to make sure my book is recognised for what it is.

Duane Smith (goodreadscomRenegadeTeacher) | 1 comments Rebecca,

I am a new indie writer and new to Goodreads, and I am at-sea from some of the early Amazon Reviews of my book. It's title is:

Renegade Teacher
An Unusual Teacher, A Wily Ol' Superintendent & The Kids Who Taught Them So Much

One Amazon reviewer gave it a 5 Star Review that, frankly I have trouble swallowing, and I think other book many book browsers/buyers may also. She said:

"This is the most exciting, inspiring and challenging book I have ever read - short of the Bible, I couldn't put it down.

So you can see, I need another Author to review the book from their point of view. So, if it is a topic (see synopsis below) that you would want to review, email me at duane@ashlandinn.com and let me know whether you would like a Kindle copy or a Print copy, and I'll get it to you.

(A Short Synopsis of "Renegade Teacher"

What would happen if a teacher threw the curriculum out the window, empowering 4th through 6th graders to learn at their own pace, focused on their own areas of interest and abilities.

Now, imagine trying this with kids other teachers had given up on. Then mix in some troublemakers, along with some bright-but-bored in need of a good challenge.

This experiment actually occurred in the 1970s led by a renegade teacher, himself a "damaged" student who had struggled with his own dyslexia, years before this condition was recognized, and an optimistic school superintendent who was intrigued with the idea of teaching problem-solving and life skills instead of facts, figures and curriculum.
.
Fast-paced stories of class projects run amok and students facing their inner demons will warm your heart and entertain you. Plus the fascinating stories and events will provide food for thought on reaching kids through self-organized, experiential learning before they lose their love of learning and fall prey to negative peer groups. In addition, these insightful classroom dramas may provide ideas for curbing the high dropout rates of many schools today.
.

Thanks, Duane Smith, new author

Jourdyn (jourdynkelly) | 6 comments Hey Rebecca! If you're still looking for books to review, I'm looking for reviewers for my new book, Destined to Kill. It's a Young Adult, Urban Fantasy book, and I'm willing to send you a .mobi or .ePub or even .pdf version, whichever suits you.

Destined to Kill is about a young vampire hunter, Anala Geil, who was turned into a vampire. Different from all the rest of the "Cursed Ones", she conceals her identity and kept hunting. Fast forward almost 600 years, after eradicating vampires centuries before, hunters were no longer needed. Until a new threat, and an old acquaintance shows up. Now, Anala (Ana) must train the descendants of past hunters to help her fight this new crop. A romance with a fellow hunter, and a shock from the past, complicates Ana's life...especially when she's forced to reveal who she really is.

Back of book: Immortality. Humans would sell their soul for it. Immortals would steal souls to keep it. Infinite life is too seductive and powerful to resist. But, immortality is more like a bad drug habit than a gift. Immortals can't give it up because after living for so long, they don't know how to face death. You see, living forever isn't all it's cracked up to be. Sure, you have your pros, but it's the cons that can make an Immortal wish for a death that will never come.

Please contact me for a copy in exchange for an honest review here on Goodreads, Amazon and any other blog or venue you have access to. Thank you so much!
