My name's Ava Marsh and I live in London. I love reading psychological thrillers, particularly at literary end eg. Gone Girl or Alys Always. I also write, but don't worry, I'm not here to spam.
Good to see a number of Brits in this group!
Ava

Alys Always is by Harriet Lane. It's a very different kind of psychological thriller - quiet and sophisticated.

Welcome to the group. I like the pic of you and your pup. I am a pet parent too.
I notices you like true crime. Have you read the "Monster of Florence" by ..."
I would rather read about it, as opposed to watching news shows. 48 Hours is on Saturday nights here, and we spend it on the lake or relaxing.

I'm also a Goodreads Author, with my debut mystery, Tip of a Bone, coming out this fall.

Hi, Christine! What is Tip of a Bone about? That's a great title!

Thanks, Patrick -- this is actually the third title for the book as my early readers thought the first two (working titles) were dull! (And they were.) In a nutshell, Tip of a Bone is the story of a woman who moves to the Oregon coast, seeking a fresh start after divorce, only to get caught up in several mysteries -- including a missing activist, an arson fire, and two buried bones.

Thanks, Ashton. I look forward to reading and participating.

I will have to be on the lookout for it! It's not out yet, right?

Hi, Patrick. I see you write books about Monterrey -- I'll mention them to a friend in my writing group, who loves to read noir. The official pub date is 9/3, although it'll be released before that (and currently in a Giveaway).

Welcome Eva. Reading 2-3 books per day is pretty amazing!!! Montreal is a beautiful city.

Welcome to MCT, Eva! : )

Christine, we are thrilled to have you in MCT! : )

Welcome to the group, Ann! So glad to have you with us.

Welcome, Christine. I live in the Pacific Northwest too. Specifically, eastern Washington (Mid-Columbia)

Spending a summer in Richland, WA as a kid is one of my favorite memories--swimming, picking cherries, riding bikes. Happy times! Thanks for the welcoming words, everyone. I look forward to the book discussions ahead.

Writing horror stories which are possibly set in small Maine towns. There is one other guy called Stephen King who also writes them if yours are half as good as him I would become a fan.

Best
Mark, London

Hi R.J Welcome! Take a few minutes to look at the games and discussions. It's fun.
Nice to meet you Donna! This is a fun site. Enjoy!
Welcome Jennifer! I love Jury too. You will enjoy this group.

I'm a huge fan of the Kellermans and Lee Child as well. I'll have to check out the others you mention.

I look forward to learning more from members of this group.

Thank you :)

"Hi!"

A little too addictive, in my opinion! I'm finding myself searching for books I read years ago and debating what I would say about them now.

These days I'm a great fan of Robert Goddard, particularly his early books. I'm always on the lookout for more of that type of story...
Hello all new! You picked a great group!

LOL. I agree about 50 Shades. However, I do find myself reading more and more YA dystopias.
Hi Delee! Nice to meet you! Welcome to a fun and active group.
