Welcome Anirudh. Cheenai looks like a fascinating city. Be sure to recommend any internationally available Indian authors in some of the others forum threads.
Hi! I love mysteries (especially cozies)and thrillers. I live in Peoria, Illinois with a big tortoiseshell cat named Tiger Lily. My sister introduced me to GoodReads about two weeks ago but only now I've discovered the clubs.
Hi all, My name is Julie and I'm VERY new to GR. I'm still trying to navigate my way through all the YA literature and ratings on this website. That's primarily why I joined this group! I am from Northern Ontario and I'm currently on maternity leave from my sales management position. I'm hoping to get new ideas and some organization from this group. So far, so good!!!!
Good morning! My name is Matt and I live in Joliet, Illinois. I'll read almost anything, but prefer mysteries. I'm currently reading Body Double by Tess Gerritsen as I work my way through a 50-state mystery challenge in which I'm only reading authors I haven't read before.

Hello Anirudh Olivia Julie and Matthew I would like to wish you all a warm welcome to this friendly and interesting group
Welcome Matt! You know to be honest with you, I've read very few books from the same author since I started here on Goodreads back in September! There is just so much out there and I used to restrict myself to just a few author's that I new and loved, but then I read all of their books and was having to wait for new releases which wasn't often enough, so since I've joined here I may have only read a few books by the same author! This place is such a cool way to find new authors and genre's that you otherwise would have never touched!

I am doing a road trip USA challenge, but not restricted to either new authors or mysteries, but by setting within that state. I think I will give your idea a try soon. Welcome to our group & GR.

Hi, my name is Myrna, and even though I only joined the group the other day, I have already spent way too much time on the site. I live just outside Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. I have always loved to read and have been on a Mystery/Thriller kick for about the past 9 years. I am looking to discover new (or new to me) authors and great books. Some of my favourites are Stuart MacBride, Denise Mina, Elizabeth George, Mo Hayder, Jo Nesbo, Jussi Adler-Olsen and Chelsea Cain, so let me know if you have any recommendations. Thanks!
Hi, my name is Jimmy, and I like to read books. No, I lied, I love to read books. I try to have a book on me just in case I need it. I'm still a little new to Mysteries and Crime Thrillers though, so that's why I'm here!
Welcome to the club Jimmy! We all LOVE reading! I do the same...always have either a book and my kindle if not both in case the kindle dies!

Hello. My name is Joe and I've just joined the group. I live in Richmond, Virginia. I love mysteries and crime thrillers. This appears to be a great group with great people. It's my pleasure to meet you all.
Welcome to the group Joe! You're not too far from me here in Elkins, WV! You should find plenty of great reads and discussions here!
Hi everyone, Joined about a week ago and then ... life got in the way!!! I live in central New York (state not city) and am an avid reader across many genres. Basically, if it can catch my interest and keep it, I like it. I try to read everything I start, even those that put me to sleep!!! Hope someone can help me, I don't know where to vote for the June group read. I found the list of books but where is the actual vote done? I'd like to read
The Hangman's Daughter. I have the book and audio - just got a Kindle Fire and want to experiment with "Immersion Reading" to see how it goes.
Hello everyone, just joined the group. Although Action-Adventure is my primary staple food for reading, Mystery/Crime Thriller is right below that. Christie & Doyle are always my all-time fevorite thriller writers, but Dean Koontz, Dennis Lehane, Nelson DeMille, Robert Crais, David Baldacci, Michael Connelly, Thomas Harris, Stephen Hunter, Martin Cruz Smith, Jeffrey Deaver, Jeffrey Archer etc. are some of my favorite contemporary thriller authors. I also LOVE Fantasy Adventure novels and Westerns (that only from the great Louis L'Amour), and basically anything which can be an intriguing read.
Hope to have fun playing with the thoughts & opinions of everything Mystery Thriller with you guys. :)
Hello !! My name is Melissa and I'm from Michigan (USA). I'm starting to really like mysteries, thrillers so I'm hoping this group will be my cup of tea :) I can't wait to get involved and start getting to know everyone :)

Welcome to the group Chris! I am the same exact way about finishing a book. There's only one book that I've started that I've not finished and that's only because my library loan automatically returned and I haven't gotten it back yet!
As for voting, you can find the nominations here:

It's a pleasure to have you join us Rizwan! I really haven't delved too far into the thriller aspect of books, but I think that I would love them! I think I would like political type thrillers! Psychological thrillers are probably my favorite right now! Do you have any good legal thriller recommendations?
You will fit in quite nicely here at MCT!

I'm sure you will find plenty of great things to be involved in here at MCT! Although I do read legal thrillers of Grisham and Richard North Patterson (and some Scott Turow), this is the one type of thriller I'm no crazy about.
I can recommend Silent Witness by Richard North Patterson. You can try it if you want.

I'm Anirudh, I live in Chennai, southern India. I'm a normal eighteen year old, a student of finance. It is not like I read only a particular genre but I prefer mysteries, thrillers, historical fiction, political fiction, ... I'm an aspiring economist and an aspiring author. I review books in my blog, http://vata312.blogspot.in
My introduction is a little late, two weeks after I've joined this group.
