Wow, those sound great. Put me on the tickle list.

Hi Eugenia. That is a really old name, its nice to see it back, a very sincere welcome to the group. We look forward to getting to know you.

Hi, Barb! Welcome to the group! ; )

Hi, Eugenia! Love the Virgin Islands! : ) One of my favorite vacation spots.
Welcome to our group!

I love the stories I grew up hearing at my dinner table. I love black and white films and photos. I love the smell of whiskey and cigarette smoke on a man. And a tailored suit. I love rich, world-weary laughter, and a home with scratches on the wood floors and books piled up all over the place. Strong tea is good. Strong coffee is better. A strong man is the best. An old map of the world pinned to the wall – and two tickets to Buenos Aires in the top drawer – just in case.
And that's why I'm hear and I want to get to know you good people :)
Cheers and have a great weekend,
Vic

Thanks, Jenni! Great to meet you. Not too many people still like cigarettes :) But whiskey's making a comeback!

I think you're right, Andrea. Thanks for the warm welcome! What are you reading?

Thanks Linda! And don't worry - when my book comes out, I won't spam any of you with promos :) I'm here to have fun.

Welcome, Tay! Love, love, love Daniel Silva.

Thanks, Autumn!

I think you're right, A..."
I'm listening to Dark Places on audio, starting out A Monster Calls on Kindle and The Snow Child in hardback!! Yourself?

Welcome, Roxy! Words cannot express how much I love(d) Lurlene McDaniels. Sigh.
Right now I am reading It, The Devil in the White City: Murder, Magic, and Madness at the Fair that Changed America, Killing Lincoln: The Shocking Assassination that Changed America Forever and Empty Promises and Other True Cases.

I was right there with you...I loved Lurlene McDaniels in high school! Don't Die My Love was my favorite!

It looks really interesting, thanks!"
Yup, Ken Bruen. I think you'll like it.

Welcome, Julie - put Child 44 by Tom Rob Smith on your list if you haven't already. Come back to me for more after that :)

Welcome Kristina - start with The Midwife's Tale by Sam Thomas. Couldn't put it down.

Child 44 has been on my TBR for some time.
I haven't hear of The Midwife's Tale. I will have to check it out. It must be good if there are 8 people on the waiting list at my local library.

It is good. You'll love it.

Thanks Andrea

You won't be disappointed - and the author, Sam Thomas, is such a nice guy. I love supporting good people.

Welcome, Ryan. I have more family than fingers in Florida :)
