"tagged," too, but also as "currently reading." Correct?
Yes..that is correct. I'm hoping to finish that soon..I've extraordinarily busy...when I want to read I'm busy..
Team D - update1. We have not heard back from Lindy.
2. I am going to PM the three "quiet" members Friday just to touch base with them.
3. All of my numbers - from finished books (although I still need to backcheck) to anticipated goals...MATCH!!!
Rebecca wrote: "All of my numbers - from finished books..."
Yes, you were lucky, I just finished checking everyone's...and I was working backwards D, C, B, A. ☺
Six people - on all four teams - changed their goals. Some up, some down.

Rebecca, as Lindy has been sick since the beginning of the year I am going to subtract 15 books from her "anticipate goal." She anticipated 260 books/52 weeks = 5 books a week. I'm going to lower her goal to 245, until we hear back from her or she signs-in.
I did notice that one member had decreased her goal by 5 from when I ran through the numbers it last week.
Yes, some people are looking at their books that are <170 pages and adjusting accordingly. Some get jobs, or lose jobs, or go back to school, or want to raise their goals upward from last year. All sorts of reasons why they change their goal.

I don't want to completely delete her but I don't know how often she logs in or when she'll be back at full capacity. I'll keep an eye on her posting activity as well.
Rebecca wrote: "... I don't want to completely delete her..."I don't either. I'm going to give her another week, then, if we don't hear from her, I'll start seeing about replacing her. It isn't as if she's only down for 50 books.
Luckily I put my tracking spreadsheet in order by sign-up so I'm confident it's the same person. But just in case :)
Moderators of Nothing but Reading Challenges wrote: "Updated you team's and my datasheets to reflect this, Rebecca."Thank you.
Vikki wrote: "Have sent messages to the 3 members for Group C who haven't signed up yet - Abhinav, Amy F & Samantha."We've got Amy signed up now and books on her shelf.
Oh, I am sorry, Lisa Kay!!!!! That was me that changed my name. I was going to send you a PM and I totally forgot. I changed my name from Kim L to Kay and then just decided Kim was fine. I got a little freaked on Internet privacy, but then figured just my first name was fine.Sorry, for the confusion.
Not a problem for me, Kim. Rebecca was the one who figured it out. **shrugs** It happens. I know I get too many windows open at once and get side-tracked by answering questions, etc.

I know you spend a lot of time on this challenge for our behalfs and I did NOT want to add to your work or the captains. In my case, it was one of my lovely 5 kids who distracted me! They have turned my brain into mush, LOL!
Sorry to you too, Rebecca!!! :)
Lisa Kay wrote: "Good Gravy Beans! Five?"Yep!!! I have five kids ages 6 to 13. I grew up in a large family (I have 5 younger brothers) so I love it! :) Although, I must say I am also enjoying that they are all in school this year, LOL!
Kim, no problem. Luckily my spreadsheet is kept based on sign-up order and not alphabetical. I was just a little confused!
We had another person sign-up for a Team Challenge without going through the sign-up thread. I sent her a welcome PM. I'm going to leave her there (Team D) whether or not she responds, as she only has six books.

Update:
1. We have not heard anything back from Lindy (PM sent 1/20/13).
2. I personally PM'd the remaining 3 welcoming them to the group on Friday (1/25/13). One member(030 books) has finished a book today that would meet the requirements. One member (075 books) finished a book on Friday that would meet the requirements. The remaining member (050 books) has not finished any books since 1/1/13.
Thanks, Rebecca! I'll update Post #105 in a bit. Got to go do something.Neapolitan Cupcakes

Rebecca,
Okay, I went ahead an added another new Team Member to Team D, since we haven't heard from Lindy. I still left her in your total; however, I went ahead and subtracted another five (5) books for the week from her anticipated total, bringing the total subtracted to 20.
Regarding Post #182, I still don't see any books posted, even for the two you mentioned had books that qualified. I just made notes of what you posted in Post #105 .

I'm sorry I wasn't clear. They still haven't posted but each would have a book that would qualify. I don't know what the accepted time frame is before we reach out to them again.
Ah! Got it, Rebecca. I would give them a week from when you sent them PMs.As far as Lindy, I'm pretty much thinking that she isn't going to be joining us. It has a week since you PM'd her and 23 days since she joined. I'm not going to count her completely out; however, I'm going to start assigning you Team Members in her stead.
Lisa Kay, I sent the PM, to the member with no books read a week ago, but she didn't answered or marked anything as read either. Can I just grumble again about GR's glitch? It says that the A-Team has 470 books read... I updated the spreadsheet and it sums 494... *deadly stare at GR*
Thanks for the update, Sonia. And, yes, you may crumble all you want. ☺ It takes about 25 to 30 minutes to update after you've clicked on everyone's "view books." So, maybe you'll be slightly happier to note that GRs now has you at 502? Reese's Peanut Butter Cupcake

Oooooooooohhhh I love reese's peanut butter cups. And now we have an American supermarket here at Lisbon, so I can finally have them. Thanks for the cupcake. I probably will make some of those soon... :o)502? I missed 8 books? well, some of the profiles are private, I don't know if that's the reason.
Sonia wrote: "502? I missed 8 books?"No, this is probably due to the 25-30 minute delay in updating.
Vikki wrote: "Still no response from Samantha & Abinhav for Team C - they were 2 members who hadn't signed up."Yes, I've been watching for them. Not sure when I'll give up on their participation.
Thanks, Vikki. I hope you like mint...

Team D Update - One member(030 books) is now on the board. No response from the other two.

I love mint!
Sorry, everyone. I've been down with a migraine. I'm up now, but a little groggy. I'll get to you all who are PM'ing me, eventually.
Thanks for your patience.
