Angie, your goal would be 251. Since the challenge is divided by teams, GRs will calculate your team's total.
In anticipation of the next question...it is okay if the goal you set is different that the one I put in parenthesis by your name in the thread/assignment listings. I can change that one, if anyone wants me to, especially if it is a huge discrepancy.
I'll be putting screens up in the Frequently Asked Questions thread that will help. (Just give me a bit.
Special Note: You do NOT need to go through the update pathway every time you read a books. Just "tag" it with your specified bookshelf. GoodReads will do the work for you. The update pathway is for updating your goal.

Would that be considered "cheating" for this contest? Or since they are all separate individual books, it's not a problem?
I would count them as separate, Stefani, as long as each book has a page count >170. How are you going to post them, in order to give your team credit? Post each under a different edition?

That's what I was planning. Use the paperback editions of each separate book to review rather than the one combined edition. I had planned to do it that way all along, but wanted to make sure it would be kosher for this challenge.

Thanks!

Books with poems would be acceptable, Brennan.

10 seems to be fair for conversions. Most of my paperback to eBook comparisons tend to come out about 7.5 to 8. But hardbacks range about 14, like Little Women parts 1 and 2. Probably has to do with the typeface settings since different fonts use a different amount of space.

GTW, Liz. Glad you are feeling well enough to pop back on GRs.

This is the Amazon page which says it's 207 pages.
The-MacKenzies-Boxed-Set

From techtips.salon.com "This gives a rough rule of thumb of one page in print equating to 2KB."

If paperback has >170 pages, and ebook has <170, does reading ebook count or not?

❀Tea❀...which book is it? I'll check it out.

I'm going with Amazon's page count for printed version at 198 pages, ❀Tea❀. I updated GRs database.

Lilac wrote: "Is there any way to count re-reads for this challenge without changing the read date?"
Lilac, not that I know of. You could always mark a different edition for this challenge. I do this for audiobooks that I "re-read." Refer to our GoodReads 101 folder, Reviewing Multiple Editions for help.

And for the future, should I ask this kind of questions here or in team discussion?

Thanks, ❀Tea❀. I'll change it when I'm back under my regular sign-on. This one doesn't have librarian privileges.
This thread is fine; makes it easier for me to find.

No, ~Melissa~, you don't have to get approval. Some people are just telling me, especially when there is a discrepancy. Then I can update the book and it saves the Team Captains time, since they don't have to investigate the page number.
However, if you want to let me know here, that would be great.

Other books in that series doesn't have ebook page numbers as well.
Ah! Yes, batches would be a great idea. Hmmm... maybe I do need to start another thread just for adding page numbers.
Yes! I'm going to do that, ❀Tea❀. It is posted here .

Cool - somehow I missed this when I looked on Amazon's site

yes i meant this , but i didn't see any Arabic books here ?
Soty, this was added to the Rules:
◈ Any book in any language will count, as long as it meets the criteria.

Rebecca wrote: "I have a quick question - what is the best way to get re-reads to show up in the challenge total. Would the reader need to update the start and end date? Thanks!"
Yes.
Yes.
Rebecca, please note that that would take the book off any previous year's total, if they were in the GRs' Yearly Challenge.
