Or how about..............
"Possibly 25 but may be more books downloaded to my kindle at least 12 months ago but not read yet"

subtitle : this list contains some books that were free and some that were paid for.

D.D. Chant (DDChant) | 7663 comments I like it!!! It has a certain ring to it, trips easily from the lips with the grace of a ballerina.

Jay-me (Janet) | 3784 comments The ballerinas from "Fantasia" ?

I haven't updated this for ages, but I have been busy reading! I've been reading some authors and series, which I either bought in sales or collected when they were free. I've now finished:-

M.C. Beaton Edwardian Candlelight series as well as a one off book - The Skeleton in the Closet(bought 1 Aug 2011)
http://www.amazon.co.uk/The-Skeleton-...

I've also read all the books which I had downloaded by Marcia Lynn McClure, about half of the books that I'd collected by Carol Grace and I've recently finished the Princes of the North series by Cindy Bouchard.

I think that I will read a few newer books now...

:0)

Yesterday I finished reading The Queen's Dollmaker which was ok, but it didn't have much depth to it.

The Queen's Dollmaker by Christine Trent
bought 1 Jan 2011

http://www.amazon.co.uk/The-Queens-Do...

Wow! I notice that it is over £8 now, it's definately not worth spending that much on!!

I haven't thought about this challenge for a while! I've been mostly reading books bought more recently - although some have been on my kindle for a year. I did read one a while ago which goes back to 2011 - Tainted Tree - and it was very good, I should have read it sooner!!

Bought 6th November 2011
Much too good to have been languishing in my TBR for so long!

I haven't consciously thought about this challenge for a while and have just been reading what ever I fancied. For some reason I decided to read Kane and Abel today which I know has been on my kindle for ages! I read one Jeffrey Archer book that someone lent me a few years ago, can't remember which now, and I wasn't very impressed with it. However, I decided to give this a go - I downloaded it on 5 May 2011 when it was free! Only just started, but so far I am actually enjoying it!

Well, I've been pretty rubbish at this challenge, basically just reading what took my fancy instead of sticking to my plans here.

However, I look at the kindle daily deals today and find one that I bought in December 2011 - A Carpet Ride To Khiva: Seven Years On The Silk Road
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0... (99p today).

I've just finished reading something so have decided that this will be my next read. It's garnered some good reviews since it was last on promotion!

Elle (louiselesley) | 6579 comments It's okay Karen - the main aim in reading (in my opinion) is to enjoy it!

Thanks Elle - I've decided to continue this challenge next year too as I still have many books on my kindle which are over a year old!

Finished and enjoyed A Carpet Ride To Khiva: Seven Years On The Silk Road

Now I've started Yesterday Morning which I noticed in the 12 days of kindle sale and had already bought in Dec 2011.

99p at the mo

I let this slip a bit last year, so I am going to carry this challenge on next year. I'll start a new thread though so that I can track my progress afresh.

This can be archived now, Patti.

Thanks :0)
