How Much Do You Read A Day?

I'm a pretty fast reader and I read between 2-4 hours a day, more if the kiddos let me. If I try I can usually finish a book every day - but life gets in the way too often for that :)

I read 2-3 books a day I guess and all of my classmates tease me on how much I read and that in a bookworm and all that cos I usually read during classes too!! I can't help it :P

I try to read 100 pages a day but I usually get distracted by Netflix (oops). And still being a student in school doesn't allow me to focus on reading as much as I want to. I am hoping this summer will be full of great books.

If I'm busy with schoolwork and other stuff probably just an hour. But on my leisure time I read until I get a headache, which is a LONG time.

Typically, I try to listen to audiobooks at work if there's nothing to taxing. If I do then I would have 1-3 hours a day on a weekday. If not then it's just 1 hour before bed.

I get more reading done during the weekend. Normally, 4-6 hours.

Wow :) some of you read a lot in a day! In the week I could never have time to read for more than 4 hours, so I read for 1.5 hours before bed if I have schoolwork to do, and if not, I read for 3-4 hours. On the weekends it depends really, because sometimes if I'm doing things I only have time to read before bed (but I can read for longer, maybe 2-3 hours before bed), but if not I can read all day if I wanted too! :D When I'm on vacation I practically read all day every day.

i don't know how i necessarily find the time and energy to do it, but i tend to read 2+ hours a day. after work and after i get my kiddies to bed - it's reading time for me!

problem of course being that if it's a good book, i can be up until 4a trying to finish!

It kind of depends. I just normally try to finish a book in a day. Sometimes those books are 300 pages, sometimes less. Sometimes they are 400 or more.
But I'm generally not able to read books more than 500 pages in a day XD

It honestly depends on the day. There are days where I don't get a chance to read at all and then there are days like today where I can read an entire book in one day.

I try to get in at least 2 hours a day, though, if possible.

It really depends on the day, and how busy I am. I try to get in 1-2 hours on weekdays, and I try for at least 3 hours a day during the weekend.

Usually during the school year, I don't read at all (yes, I'm ashamed of myself too) so I read in bits and spurts. One day I'll read an entire 500 page book and the next, nothing at all.

Now that it's summer though, I read for 2 or 3 hours per day. I've realized that because of my lack of reading throughout the school year, it's becoming difficult to regain my old love of books.

It depends on the week. If my nieces are at home that week I may not get a lot read. But if they are their dads that week I get more read. Some days I read more than others depending on what book I am reading. If I am extremely excited about the book I zoom through it. Divergent I read in two days. I think most of the Harry Potters I read within a week. Some books take me longer if I am not as interested but I want to read because I am slightly interested.

For example when I'm at my house with a lot of things to do for not getting bored I usually read one hour
But when I'm traveling by car, bus or airplane I spend almost all my time reading!
I feel that it's the perfect moment to do it :)
