Based on the reviews, it is a cookbook with lots of recipes, but it's also a primer on how and why to go vegan. I am almost finished reading Sistah Vegan: Food, Identity, Health, and Society: Black Female Vegans Speak (which does not have any recipes). It looks like this book would be a great accompaniment, along with Vegan Soul Kitchen: Fresh, Healthy, and Creative African-American Cuisine.
I haven't gotten my hands on a copy of By Any Greens Necessary: A Revolutionary Guide for Black Women Who Want to Eat Great, Get Healthy, Lose Weight, and Look Phat yet, but I hope to do so soon! Has anyone here tried any recipes from it yet?
