Hi all, I'm Jaymin :)

My favourite books are anything by Cassie Clare, John Greens' The Fault in our Stars, A Song of Ice and Fire by George R. R. Martin and many, many more!
I love Arya and Daenarys from ASOIAF, Holly Short from the Artemis Fowl series by Eoin Colfer and Tris from Divergent.
John Green, Cassie Clare and Eoin Colfer would have to be my top authors.
And, I love YA distopian, modern fantasy and historical fantasy (Lord of the Rings, Inheritance Cycle, ASOIAF), but I'm starting to get more into general fiction as well.

I am Isabelle and I love reading all kinds of genres but especially Young Adult books with kick-ass females. That is how I found you ;-) I'm still a bit new to Good reads and English is not my native, so please excuse any mistakes I make.

My most favorite books are the "Study" series by Maria V. Snyder, Elena is just my ultimate YA Heroines- character and I love Snyder's writing in particularly.

I'm always in need of new books and already read one of your recommendations, "time's twisted arrow" by Rysa Walker. Thank you for that and for the many, I'm sure, to come! ;-)

Yes, I really liked Rysa's book, can't wait for the next part ;) Though I didn't find any reviews for her book in the German Amazon Store, I think I'm gonna write my first one ever to give it, hopefully, a little push. I saw she's actually now one of the last 25 nominees for the Amazon Award- I'd be so happy for her to win.

And that was a bit long now for the introduction post, I guess. Anyway, glad to have joined you :)

Hi everyone! I'm Cindy. I've been here at Goodreads for almost 7 years and I've been looking for a fun forum pretty much the whole time.

I keep getting stuck in groups of book snobs who think only the classics are worth reading and look down their nose at anyone who buys a paperback at the grocery store! So, I'm glad I found this group.

My favorite book is To Kill A Mockingbird but I re-read Harry Potter and Percy Jackson every chance I get. Basically, if it has words in it... I'll read it. Recommendations always welcome!

Hiya!! I'm Mo and Im gonna go total fangirl on you guys when reading the Mortal Insturments Series because i just LOVE CASSANDRA CLARE!!! The Infernal Devices by her are like AMAZING!!! I also like The Seven Realms Series by Cinda Williams Chima. Anyone read that? Onviously Im a potterhead and my favorite heroine would have to be Sydney Sage from the Bloodlines series. Hey! I'm Nicole. I've been a member for a few months. I tend to lurk, but I do pitch in from time to time. I don't remember if I've introduced myself in this group or not, but I love to read pretty much anything.

Some of my favorite authors are Brandon Sanderson (who writes really great female heroines, a lot of them are YA, too, just not sold as YA), Robert Jordan (again, YA characters but never billed as such), Patrick Rothfuss and a score of others. I read City of Bones several years ago and was a little put off by the Star Wars rip off, so I didn't read the other books. But Cassandra Clare is as prolific as Brandon Sanderson, so I'm considering trying her books again. What do you guys think?
