Hello! My name is Margeaux and I'm a YA Dystopia not so secret fanatic. I do enjoy books in any genre, but I can't resist a YA novel.

My favorite character often changed with the series I'm reading. I loved Tris in the Divergent series. There is nothing like a kick-butt female.

I'm currently reading the Game Of Thrones series. I know it isn't YA, but I'm a sucker for an epic tale. :)

(You can check out our thread for graceling in the fantasy folder. It has no spoilers and I think that you should give graceling a try, it is one of my most favourite books of all time!)

Some heroines I really like include Tris (divergent), June (Legend), Max (well, I liked her in the 1st 3 books of the Maximum Ride series at least...), Annabeth (Percy Jackson) and Hermione from Harry Potter.

Mostly, I <3 heroines that are courageous, smart, brave, girls that don't act like they're a damsel in distress(girls that aren't weak and depend on guys to come and rescue them), and girls that you can think of as your role model :) really excited to join :)
