Spencer's father passes them to see his daughter.

Alistar looks at him then goes to his daughters room.
Drake took a few more staggering steps toward his room.
Alistar comes into his daughters room smiling when she just finished her book. "How's your book?" He asked "I just finished it was good." She said. "That's good." He said. He sits on her bed. "How do you feel about the wedding plans?" He asked Spencer doesn't answer.
Drake made it into his room and sprawled on the bed, not bothering to change.
"Spencer?" He asked. "Father you know the answer to that," She said softly "You need to try and get along with Drake Spencer." Alistar said Spencer doesn't answer him.
"Try to get some sleep." Alistar said he goes up to her and ksises her forehead. "I love you."He said "I love you too father." She said He leaves the room turning the lights down. Spencer lays down falling asleep.
The next morning Drake knocked on Spencer's door.
Spencer wakes up she sits up and goes to answer the door. She sees Drake she tries not to give him bad looks.
"So, I'm sort of being punished," Drake said. "I've got to take you out riding."
Spencer says "That is a surprise." She said she never seen him get in trouble.
"Yeah," Drake was a little bit embarrassed. "Apparently Dad doesn't like me getting drunk."
Spencer says "I can agree with him on that." She said softly.
Spencer sighs "Yes alright." She said she grabs her cloak before walking out.
"Good. I'm in one of those rare moods where I don't feel like forcing someone to do something." Drake said.
Spencer nods and puts her cloak on. "We should go then."
"Do you have a horse of your own?" Drake asked.
Spencer nods "Yes I do." Spencer said walking out leading to the stables.
Spencer walks over to her horse. She mounts her horse.
Drake spurred his horse forward, slowly at first.
Spencer spurred her horse forward going a little faster then him.
Refusing to be beaten, Drake put his horse into a canter.
Drake stayed quiet for a long time before saying, "You actually loved that guy, didn't you."
Spencer looks at him and nods "I did. He was the first guy that ever was nice to me."
"Dad says we need to get to know each other somewhat," Drake said. "Honestly, I could care less about it all."
Spencer sighs "That's what my dad told me." She said
"We're most likely going to kill your dad soon after we get married." Drake stated.
Spencer looks down when he says that. "Why kill him? I already lost my mother." she mumbled.
Drake shrugged. "I dunno. I can almost always see cause for killing people, but not in that case. We could just as easily just lock him in the tower."
Spencer finches when she hears that.
Drake had been around death his whole life. It was a new concept to him for someone to be like Spencer was.
Spencer keeps riding thinking of all that's happening.
Spencer keeps riding. They soon start passing the trails to her mothers grave. She tries not to notice.
"What's down these trails?" Drake asked.
