Spencer sent a letter saying her cousin would wait with him until she came.
Spencer hid the letters and got ready. Michelle sat near the door of Drakes room.
Spencer changed and left to the healers cottage with her guard.
Drake checked the time and saw that Spencer should be coming soon.
Spencer arrives her cloak covering her face as she goes in greeting her cousin and going into Drakes room.
Spencer smiled. "Hi Drake," She said to him.
"There's a couple things i need to talk to you about," Silas said.
"What are they?" She asked ready to answer.
"I can deal with my father, in a way where no one will ever know what happened to him." Silas said, waiting to see her reaction.
"Drake you shouldn't hurt him," She said to him.
"Why? He's done nothing but hurt you this whole time. All your troubles would be over with if I got rid of him."
"Drake we might need his help. With everything going on we need to stop my uncle and we need more allies." She said regretting it but knew it was the truth.
"Probably but were going to need help. Unless I can convince the bandits."
Spencer thought maybe she should talk to the bandits.
"What's your plan? Do you know what you're going to do against your uncle?" Drake asked.
"I just need to gather more people. But I think he's going to attack soon. I'll need to get help from the bandits before my uncle gets to them." she sighed.
"The bandits?" Silas thought. "Actually, they could be really good allies, couldn't they."
Spencer nodded. "Yeah they are great fighters that's why I might gather them. I just don't know how to gather them." she said to him.
"You could go to the place where we were ambushed by them." Drake said.
Spencer nodded. "Good Idea. But I think I have a better one." she said figuring one out.
"The bandits do most of their work on the road robbing the carriages filled with gold and other treasures. If I got into a carriage and go to the bandits to talk to them. I can convince them they can have the gold if they help." she said to him.
Spencer nods. "I just have to tell my mother and Ryan it needs to be done quickly." she said.
Spencer nodded. "How are you feeling?"
"Ok," Drake said, trying to sound hopeful.
Spencer nodded "Im sorry that my uncle attacked you."
Drake nodded. "I'm sorry my dad killed yours."
Spencer nodded. "I think your father know's that your alive." she said softly.
Drake nodded solemnly. "I'm not surprised. He's probably pretending that he doesn't."
Spencer nodded. "If he sends anyone to kill you he won't succeed." she said in a promising way.
"He won't try to kill me yet. I know him. He'll wait till a better time."
Spencer nodded. "Hopefully you'll be healed and far away by the time he tries."
Spencer sighed thinking of something.
The healer came back in to check on Drake.
Spencer moved letting the healer look at him.
