King Allistar kept a straight face speaking to the counsel.

Drake sat back and listened to all the talking.
King Alistar convinces them they finally stop asking. But he knows they want o talk to him badly about it.
King Elias wasn't entirely convinced, but he went with it for now.
King Alistar answers other questions about the wedding.
Drake had never really liked the council. He listened to their questions. What right was it of theirs to be asking these? he thought.
The counsel keeps asking questions and King Alistar keeps answering. "May we ask wheres your daughter?" asked The head counsel men. "She's resting." He said.
Drake hoped they wouldn't want Spencer brought in.
"Ah yes we heard about the attack that happened on her." They said "How is she feeling?" They asked "Very well but still needs to rest." he said.
Drake stopped himself from rolling his eyes just in time. He knew the council didn't really care how she felt.
"Well it's good that your daughter isn't dead." they said.
King Elias continued listening.((sorry))
((Your fine))King Alistair nods agreeing. Soon the counsel leaves.
King Alistar bows at them watching them leave.
When they were gone Drake tried to subtly lead his father to the door so he wouldn't talk to King Allistar about Brandon.
King Allistar sits down reading paperwork.
King Elias shooed Drake away from him and sat down infront of King Allistar.
King Allistar keeps working on paperwork seeing King Elias in front of him. "Is there something you need King Elias?" He asked.
"I was just thinking," King Elias said. "It's quite interesting that your nephew was left an orphan, and you received a child at the same time."
King Alistar looks at him "The child I adopted was born here. My nephew was born five kingdomes away."
"You were not seen around the kingdom a few days before you came with that child." King Elias said.Drake quietly talked to one of the few guards in his father's army that he trusted, telling him to make a false alarm.
"I wast at rhe healing Cottage. " he said
The soldier went out on the battlements. "There are no witnesses to that," King Elias said.
"Are you sure? I had a few witbesses." he said
"King Elias!" The soldier ran back in. "Come quickly!"
"Something has been sighted over the battlements! You must come quickly, Your Majesty!" The guard said. King Elias went after the guard.
King Alistair watches them leave and goes to Spencer telling her that King Elias is starting to figure it out. She nods just in case something bad happens.
Drake went after King Allistar. "Can I talk to you for a minute?" he asked him.
King Allistar nods "Yes of course." He said "What is it?"
"Sir, I think it would be wise if you gather at least a dozen of the villagers that you trust the most and have them witness to the fact that you were at the healer's cottage. Make sure it's ones that are good at lying, because Father is going to ask them a lot of complex questions. Have them memorize every detail even down to what clothes you were wearing." Drake said. "You don't have very much time, because the guard can't stall him too long."
King Allistar says "Don't worry the kingdom knows already knows the details." He said.
"Ok," Drake said. "I'm going to try to hold him off for as long as I can."
"Alright thank you and please make sure he doesn't go to my daughter." King Alistair begged.
Drake nods "Please Drake I can't loose her and if I do the kingdom will rebel." he said before leaving to Spencer's room.
"I swear, I will die before anything happens to her." Drake said firmly.
King Alistair nods "Thank you." He said before going to his daughters room.
King Alistair goes to Spencer's room. Spencer lets him in.
Drake went into his room, trying to decide what he could do. He told the soldier to tell him if King Elias started coming that way.
Drake tried to formulate some kind of plan to fix everyting.
Spencer keeps speaking with her father.
King Elias talked to some of his soldiers.
Spencer and her father go to the garden speaking Brandon in her arms.
Drake heard a noise. He cautiously opened his door and saw the soldier that King Elias had appointed as a spy. Sneaking up behind him, Drake grabbed him.
