Spencer wakes up in the morning feeling sore.

Drake suddenly snapped awake. He smiled at Spencer.
Spencer smiled up at Drake. She tries to sit up.
Drake stopped her. "The healer said you need to take it easy."
Spencer groans and lays down again. "How bad did she say the wound was?"
"It's not too bad, but you need to be careful how much talking you do."
Spencer nods feeling tired. She hoped her father has sent a letter to her. When she sees her assisstant walk in with a letter she gets relieved.
"I'll leave you in privacy to read your mail," Drake said.
Spencer nods and says "Thank you Drake." She said her assistant walks over giving her the letter. She sees her fathers signature on it.
Spencer reads it and smiles seeing that her dad is coming back with her baby cousin Brandon. She has her assistant write a reply. She says to her "Make sure King Elias doesn't hear or see this letter and tell the servants my father is ill and have them spread it around so no one will bother him." She said her assisstant nods bowing and leaves.
Spencer tries to rest thinking of her father and cousin. Her assisstant sneaks through the castle to deliever the message. Avoiding King Elias many times.
Drake came back into the room with Spencer a couple hours later.
Spencer was reading since she couldn't really speak.
Spencer smiled at him closing her book.

((Maybe King Elias sees her father is missing and confronts her?))
((ok))King Elias stormed into the room.
Spencer looks up to see King Elias she didn't act afraid she probably knew why he was there but wasn't certain.
Drake sprung up. "Father, she isn't well. Leave her alone."
Spencer looks at Drake and King Elias calmly.
King Elias pushed Drake out of the way and came up to Spencer. "Where is King Allistar?" He demanded.
"My father is ill resting in his room." Spencer said calmly.
"You lie!" King Elias said. "He is nowhere in the castle."
"If he isn't in the castle. He must be in the healers cottage in the village." She said.
"He is not there either." King Elias said.
Spencer hears this she tries not to show emotion as she thinks of another excuse.
Drake grabbed King Elias by the arm. "Leave her alone." He threatened.
Spencer tries not to show emotion but looks up seeing her father holding a baby boy in his arms. "What's going on?" He asked.
King Alistair walks over. "Spence?" He said Spencer just gives him and tell you later look.
"Where have you been?" King Elias demanded. "You are not permitted to leave without my permission."
"I was at the healing Cottage my guard told your guard who was supposed to tell you." he said holding the baby boy.
"My guard made no such report. You have been elsewhere, I can tell it."
"I wasn't anywhere else." He said "I was sick and I needed to go to the healing cottage." He said firmly not showing any lies in his voice.
"Then where did this child come from? Surely the healer didn't give you her son." King Elias said, sure he had the upper hand now.
"The child was under adoption and a couple that absolutely hate children wanted to adopt him so I adopted him putting him in as my nephew before they could get him." King Alistair said not giving up.
King Elias tried to think of a comeback. He stormed out of the room, capes billowing behind him.
King Alistair watches him leave then gets relieved. He walks over to Spencer kissing her cheek. "What happened?" he asked "Bandit almost killed me." She said.
Spencer speaks with her father "I'm lucky I got there on time." He said Spencer nods. "Brandon is safe that's all that matters your cousin is one of the next heirs." He said silent. Spencer nods.
Drake stepped farther away from the bed in order to give them privacy.
Spencer holds Brandon kissing his forehead. "Your safe now." She said. King Alistar says "Let's hope King Elias doesn't hear about the other kingdom destroyed he'll know where I went." He said Spencer nods. "I'm going to go and do some work watch Brandon will you?" He asked Spencer nods he leaves Spencer holds Brandon.
"Your father is in grave danger," Drake said.
