January 2013 Build Your Own Challenge!

Announcement: I’ve made the decision to, at least temporarily, combine the Build Your Own Challenge and the Spell it Out! Challenge. You can definitely use the BYOC to Spell it Out! If you’d like to!

Here in the Not Too Challenging Challenges world, we try to give you the opportunity to challenge yourself by Building Your Own Challenges. Maybe you want to scale Mount ToBeRead and relieve some of the pressure from that avalanche waiting to happen. Or, maybe you want to be more theme specific and read something related to January such as books about starting over, stories with resolutions, be they old or new… whatever you want. It’s your choice.

It reminds you of January: Books published in January, or taking place in January. A character named January…. Whatever! If it reminds you of January in any way, it counts for this challenge.

Examples:

For a BYOC challenge:

If I read the book, For You by Kristen Ashley, it can work for many reasons – The heroine’s name is February, which comes after “January” so it makes me think of “January” and it counts. This would, of course, also work in February. The book is published in March, so it could work for a March challenge as well.

For a Spell it Out! Challenge:
