Anafreestyler I don't know... maybe when my grandmother died, because she died from an easily curable type of cancer but she wasn't diagnosed in time. She was always so proud of m and we had so many plans for wnen I grow up and she never got to see me graduate from high school, turn 18, my first boyfriend, see me go to college... It just made me realise there isn't another person in the world that loved me like she did and she's gone. That really changed me.

On a lighter note... Do you watch How I met your mother, and if you do, did you like how it ended?

message 2452: by Iman (new) - rated it 4 stars

Iman Yes, I used to watch it. And no, I hated the ending. SO LAME!
They had the ending set up from season one, the rest was infill, it felt like so. I was so unhappy. If they wanted to keep the end result they could have, but they needed a little more arc for the characters. The whole last season could've, should have been different. It really bugged me.

Do you enjoy reading plays ?

message 2453: by Sorrel (new) - rated it 5 stars

Sorrel Yes but I think I prefer seeing them performed because there's something about the theatre that I find really magical, as cheesy as that sounds.
Do you like poetry and if so do you prefer to hear it read aloud or read it in your head?

Amie Jane I adore poetry but only when I read it in my head. I can't focus when anything is read out loud.

If you could meet anyone before they became famous, and be part of their journey, who would it be?

message 2455: by Paula (new) - rated it 4 stars

Paula I would like to meet J. K. Rowling before she was famous, she could be tips on how to persist in writing and not giving up hope I might one day become famous.

Do you have a favourite word?

message 2456: by between the lines (last edited May 05, 2014 02:07AM) (new) - rated it 5 stars

between the lines I probably said it before, but I really like the word “smitten”. I like how it rolls off my tongue. And the meaning too. “Crush” sounds so childish and immature and teenage-high-school-ish. And “Love” is something you say only if you're committed and can't see yourself with anyone else.

I really hate seeing my classmates going on about how they “love” this person. I feel like screaming that it's not love. It's a crush, an attraction but not love.

Sorry for the rant! But is there something that you don't like about this generation of teens? For me, it's what I said above..they act like they know it all but they don't.

message 2457: by Paula (new) - rated it 4 stars

Paula Okay so I'm older then you Summer by like less then 10years I think. So if I'm thinking about my own generation the gen Y I say I hate how most of the people in the category don't want to work or do anything in life. They've literally given good hard working people like myself a bad name.
Now if I'm talking about gen Z which is your generation Summer, as a former school teacher and child care worker what I think is their problem isn't so much about "Love" getting so freely tossed around. It's how social media has corrupted ,into thinking sexting or hooking up is normal. Sex is at their fingertips at the drop of a pin, which is possibly why they're confused between love and lust.

Paula I'm not one who regrets what they say, because I feel honesty really matters and I don't care if it hurts feelings because the truth should be spoken. Of course I get a lot of flack for it, but I value this quality I have about myself and I'm confident about it despite that it can come across as obnoxious or mean it's just me and I don't worry what others think.
