between the lines Failure. Not that I've overcome it. But the one thing that always stands between me and my task at hand, making me hesitate every single time in my life is the possibility that I will fail. I think failure is something I'm more scared of than death. I've tried to overcome it by not thinking about it, by purposely failing in things that don't really matter, maintaining a positive attitude and whatnot. But I don't think I've even come one step closer to my goal. Ironical, that I'm scared of failing to overcome my fear of failure. I had some exams until recently and now I'm gonna some MORE exams and I haven't been able to sleep since almost three months. The tension in my neck isn't helping either...and..AND OH MY GOD, WHY AM I HERE?! I SHOULD BE STUDYING!!

Anyway...what are you most scared of? Not animals, or water or heights but something you come across everyday?

message 2252: by Paula (new) - rated it 4 stars

Paula I'm scared of my anxiety.

If you could be any person who would you be?

message 2253: by between the lines (last edited Apr 01, 2014 05:52AM) (new) - rated it 5 stars

between the lines I don't really know...but Mark Zuckerburg or Steve Jobs maybe?
Oh and Sorrel, that doesn't sound lame. In fact it's great that you can control yourself instead of being a giant squid of anger. (Nerdfighter reference, anyone?)

If you could look at yourself through someone else's eyes, who would you choose?

 reading_angel13 (Vishalya) My school friends

If you had to chose one moment in your life that you could relive what would it be?

message 2255: by Paula (new) - rated it 4 stars

Paula Being born, I think it would be cool to open my eyes coming out of my mother's womb going "Hell world!" Sorry if the detail was icky.

What is something you regret?

message 2256: by between the lines (last edited Apr 01, 2014 06:44AM) (new) - rated it 5 stars

between the lines Hell world? Do you mean to say hello world? But I prefer hell world myself. Lol. Imagine the look of the parents who gave birth to Satan. Lol

Anyway...I wish I enjoyed more as a kid. I was always bored as a kid, but now I miss the leisurely and uncomplicated life that I had.

If you could understand how one thing worked, what would like to know about? Like you could know everything about DNA or Bermuda Triangle or programming.

message 2257: by Iman (new) - rated it 4 stars

Iman Bermuda triangle !!!! I have a thing for real life mysteries and disappearance stories. Since I first read about it I've been fascinated by it. I even had it pinned on google earth as my dream destination.

If you had a choice between living on a space station for a year or in a submarine which would you choose ?

between the lines Submarine, way more action.

message 2259: by Aly (new) - rated it 5 stars

Anafreestyler Depends on the mood, or whether I want to control what I'm listening to or want to hear a specific song.

What's the most creative thing you've ever done?

chey ⋆ 。゚ ୨୧ A few years ago I was super interested in possibly publishing my own book so I got real into writing. I had a story going on a board for a good three - five months and I never ended up completing it. I still kind of regret that, but I have no interest in picking it up now.

Would you face your greatest fear if it was presented in front of you?

message 2265: by Sorrel (new) - rated it 5 stars

Sorrel I would like to say yes but... mm I think I might've just run. I can be a bit of a coward sometimes so...
:-)

message 2270: by Lila (new) - rated it 5 stars

Lila Oh jeez there are soooo many.... Well most recently, my friend dared me to give a cute guy a candy heart that said "UR HOT". I did.
He was like "awwwwww" It was so embarrassing. But it got me out of my comfort zone so I think it was good in the long run :)

Is there anyone in your life that you simultaneously love and hate? I know there is for me....

message 2271: by Sorrel (new) - rated it 5 stars

Lila Chocolates! Is that even a question?? Lol

Are you happy with your appearance? If not, why?

between the lines I don't if I'm happy with my appearance, but I can say I'm content with it. As a kid, I thought I was ugly, but with a little of changing my hairstyle, I guess I look better now. But yeah, I don't think I'm prettiest person in the room and I'm okay with that. I try not to judge people on how they look and I'm no exception so I don't do it myself either.

Paula As a person who believes in Allah (I'm not a Muslim anymore, so technically I'm called an infidel by those who follow Islam.)I believe in Jannah which is Arabic for Paradise but if you reference it into Christianity it's heaven. I do believe in hell, and Allah decides on your character will you enter paradise or not.

Do you accept humans are not perfect, because we make mistakes?

message 2276: by Sorrel (new) - rated it 5 stars

Sorrel Yeah, obviously humans are not perfect. If they were then the world wouldn't be in such a state right now what with pollution and war and conflict etc.

For example, why does everyone like mushroom? ’Cause he’s a fungi! And he doesn’t even take mushroom!

And stuff like becoming a vegetarian is a huge missed steak.

Okay, favourite pun?

message 2285: by Paula (new) - rated it 4 stars

When you meet a new person what is the first thing you say or do?

message 2291: by Sorrel (new) - rated it 5 stars

Sorrel I'm not very good with people, bit awkward so usually it's like a minute wave and a tiny "Hi" or "Hey" or just a smile and nod whilst doing minute wave. If there's other people I generally leave them to do the talking. If there isn't then awkward silence prevails until one of us gives up and leaves. So yeah.

message 2297: by Jocelyn (new) - rated it 5 stars

Do you believe in keeping secrets?
