message 1254: by Jeana (new) - rated it 4 stars

Jeana Marie I dont really watch TV... so..

between the lines Too difficult to choose but I guess it is a tie between Supernatural and How I Met Your Mother. I also love Grey's Anatomy, The River, Modern Family, Raising Hope, New Girl...oh well.

Do you watch the show Supernatural? If yes, what was your favourite episode?

message 1256: by Angela (new) - rated it 5 stars

Angela sorry to disappoint but I don't :/

same Q since I'm lame and don't really watch any tv shows except for big brother lol

message 1257: by Kelseyc (new) - rated it 5 stars

Kelseyc I don't watch Supernatural either but @sonja I'm so excited I found another Big Brother fan! No one in my area watches it haha

What is your dream pet

message 1258: by Jamie (new) - rated it 3 stars

Jamie A dog. It's simple, but I really love dogs. Ideally a big one, right now I own a boxer.

If you could live anywhere, where would it be and why?

message 1259: by Angela (new) - rated it 5 stars

Angela I would live right where I am living right now! Because It's home and will always be home to me :)

@kelseyc ahhh love you already lol

what animal would you like to be?

message 1260: by Jamie (new) - rated it 3 stars

Jamie Not sure. Human? Boring answer...

Same question.

Grace A giraffe maybe? I'm not sure.

Do you like hummus?

message 1262: by Jamie (new) - rated it 3 stars

Jamie Haha I love hummus. Even though it may make my breath a little gross... That's what toothpaste and mouth wash are for right?

Favorite thing to eat at a restaurant?

message 1263: by Sorrel (last edited Aug 18, 2013 01:31AM) (new) - rated it 5 stars

Sorrel Mmm... chocolate fudge cake with thick chocolate sauce. And ice cream. Yum :-)
If it was your last day on earth (and you knew that it was) what would you do?

message 1264: by Jeana (new) - rated it 4 stars

Jeana Marie I had one last year and he was really strict, he was always grumpy and chewed us out a lot. But nothing truly horrible.

Same q.

message 1265: by Jeana (new) - rated it 4 stars

Jeana Marie Wow... I honestly don't know. I'm generally a happy person. :)

Are you procrastinating right now?

message 1266: by Sorrel (new) - rated it 5 stars

Sorrel Um... yes. I'm supposed to be getting ready to go for a run... but instead I'm on goodreads. Eating cookies at the same time... XD
Are you a productive person?

between the lines Depends on my state of my mind, I guess. If I want to do something I will do it even if it kills me. But if I don't feel like doing it, I'll find an excuse not to.

Who would you rather date? A shy, cute guy or a loud, social guy? (Or girl, but I think everyone here is a girl. Right? )

message 1268: by Sorrel (new) - rated it 5 stars

Sorrel Well they could be a girl and still like girls. Just ponting that out XD.
Anyway, I would choose the shy, cute guy any day.
Same Question:
Could you date someone who was either really clever or really, really not clever?

message 1269: by Kelseyc (new) - rated it 5 stars

Kelseyc They would have to be clever! I like a guy that I can talk current events with and we can learn from each other. Do I sound nerdy enough yet?

If you could date anyone from a book who would you date and why?

message 1270: by Jamie (new) - rated it 3 stars

Jamie I would date Peeta from the hunger games. Honestly, a lot of girls would say this but honestly If he we were real it would work out. We're pretty compatible and similar in a lot of ways. But we can also be different in decision-making at times so I could see something from another's point of view. I think we'd make a good couple. Hahaha.

If you had to choose a book that you would never have to read or re-read which would it be?!

message 1271: by Sorrel (new) - rated it 5 stars

Sorrel Oh um... Mist by Kathryn James. I hate that book so much. Grrr.
If you only allowed to listen to three different albums for the rest of your life, what would they be?

message 1272: by Kelseyc (new) - rated it 5 stars

Kelseyc I'm not sure about different albums but I do know which artists! I would listen to Alt J, Josiah Leming, and...hmmm...The Neighborhood.

If you could only watch three movies for the rest of your life what would they be and why?

between the lines Well, the way you make it sound, I guess I would choose the bad boys. But actually, in reality, I would rather like the good guy, I guess. I don't mean a goody two shoes but thing is I like boys who are cute/shy/sweet and most bad boys aren't any of those things.

Describe your ideal guy (or girl)

message 1274: by Miranda (last edited Aug 20, 2013 07:51AM) (new) - rated it 4 stars

Miranda Starmz This is kind of strange for me to answer because I can picture my ideal guy, but I don't particularly have a type, and I know that I probably wouldn't 'get' my ideal guy in real life ... and I'm okay with that, I think. c:

But I digress. Here goes nothing!

He should be relatively intelligent - at the least, be able to carry a discussion / debate with me! I can be very passionate about certain issues, and he should be willing to ponder on such topics with me, or at least humour me. Bonus points if he's patient enough to deal with me even though I don't know all that much about the topic (which is often the case) and he knows this! I usually describe guys I like as cute / endearing, because while how physically attractive they are is always a bonus, more often than not the guys I like aren't so much conventionally handsome but just ... cute. And okay maybe handsome, but not totally hot. I used to go for blondes, but now I think I lean towards dark hair and blue eyes. Of course, that's extremely hard to find, so brown hair and light coloured eyes ranks pretty high up my list as well. Regarding hair / eye colour, however, I honestly don't mind! Although it would be nice if he had a different eye colour than my own, boring dark brown eyes.

After all that, well, it would be nice if he was sweet, and if not the life of the party, at least entertaining to me. Chivalry is always great now and then, but I understand that sometimes that doesn't happen, so I'm alright if he's occasionally too shy to make a bold move. Though I will say that since I'm pretty shy myself, he'd have to pluck up the courage and give me at least some sort of hint! Finally, I think we should be good friends, if not best friends, before we ever start a romantic relationship. I believe friendship is more powerful than romantic love, partly because I think that the deepest bonds of eros (romantic love) are forged first in the fires of friendship (points for alliteration?).

I'm so sorry for my long answer! Now, to the next poster, here's my question to you:
What part of your future are you most afraid of (if you're nervous about the future at all)?

message 1275: by Sorrel (new) - rated it 5 stars

Sorrel GCSE's and A levels most certainly, and whether I 'll get into a good university or get a good job.
Do you have a sick-day film? One that you watch when you are ill and home from school/work and what is it? If you don't what's your favourite feel-good film?

Mersedes When I'm sick I like to watch the Harry Potter movies :) Especially since I'm too tired to read I just pop them in :D

Have you ever thought about suicide seriously?

message 1277: by Jeana (new) - rated it 4 stars

Jeana Marie No, and I probably never will.

Are you at home right now?

'Resa Ann Why yes, yes I am.

Question: Do scary movies freak you out at night?

message 1279: by Sorrel (new) - rated it 5 stars

Sorrel A jellyfish for the most part. Then a pop star, then an artist and then a zoo keeper.
What do most want to be now?

between the lines A computer/software engineer. Kinda like Mark Zuckerburg. Not like the douche they portrayed him as in The Social Network, but like the guy he is in real life, without the miserliness of course.

What colour are you eyes and hair? Is your hair curly/straight/wavy ? Also if you could choose the colour and type of both your hair and eyes, what would you want?

Angeline Joseph Summer Breeze wrote: "A computer/software engineer. Kinda like Mark Zuckerburg. Not like the douche they portrayed him as in The Social Network, but like the guy he is in real life, without the miserliness of course.

W..."

I have brown eyes and annoyingly frizzy black hair. I would love to be a brunette with blue eyes and fair skin.
What is the one thing that you're most ashamed about?

Needmorebooks this probably isn't the MOST shameful, but my ability to turn almost any conversation awkward :/

same question.

oh and @Ryann: Thanks :)

message 1283: by Kelseyc (new) - rated it 5 stars

Kelseyc I'm not ashamed of much haha.

Do you prefer comedies or dramas?

message 1284: by Sorrel (new) - rated it 5 stars

Sorrel I watch more comedies but I'm not sure which I prefer, plus most dramas have a small aspect of comedy
Long or short sleeved t-shirt?

between the lines As in board games? If so, I like chess even though I don't play it a lot. But if you meant something like sports then badminton is pretty cool.

Are you a nerd, geek, jock, goth or what?

message 1286: by Jeana (new) - rated it 4 stars

Jeana Marie I'm actually a nerd, but since my best friend is friends with some 'popular' girls, we all sit together at a lunch table. It's a lot different from last year. this all seems a lot more dramatic when being written down, lol. :P

Would you ever write a book?

message 1287: by Sorrel (new) - rated it 5 stars

Sorrel I'd like to, last time I counted I had 52 unfinished stories on my computer :-D I don't think I will though, I don't have the motivation or perseverance.
Favourite genre of books?

message 1288: by Tara (new) - rated it 5 stars

Tara My favourite is either young adult or fantasy.
Which country would you love to visit and why?

message 1289: by Kelseyc (new) - rated it 5 stars

Kelseyc Italy because I think it's beautiful

Same question

between the lines I don't have any one particular country because I want to see so many including Italy, France, Spain, Venice, Switzerland...too many to name.

If you could choose to do anything you want what would you choose as your profession? Oh, other than being an author since most people on GR want to do that.

message 1291: by Sorrel (new) - rated it 5 stars

Sorrel I would choose being a charity worker who goes out to different countries and sees all of the problems and the things that need to be changed first hand. I would want to go out there and help and try and make a change to the world I guess.
If you won one million pounds what would you do with it?

message 1292: by Tara (new) - rated it 5 stars

Tara I'd travel the world, go to the next rugby world cup, buy all the books I want and donate some to charity.
If you could have one wish come true what would it be?

message 1293: by Jeana (new) - rated it 4 stars

Jeana Marie All the corruption to be out of the world's government systems. Like that'll happen lol

If you had to, what kind of website would you design?

message 1294: by Kelseyc (new) - rated it 5 stars

Kelseyc I'm not really into computer design but I guess if I was I would do some kind of book website.

Same question since my answer was pathetic:)

message 1295: by Sorrel (last edited Aug 23, 2013 03:17PM) (new) - rated it 5 stars

Sorrel A website for computer games like friv or neodelight. I reckon it'd be well fun to do.
Favourite comedian? Or actor if you don't know any comedians?

between the lines I don't know comedians so my favourite actor is Andrew Amazing Garfield. :) Sa-woon indeed. That his awesome acting abilities in The Social Network.

What is your all time fav movie?

message 1297: by Kelseyc (new) - rated it 5 stars

Kelseyc I love movies almost as much as I love books which is saying something. Haha! So that is a terribly hard question. I really love Warrior, My Sisters Keeper is awesome, and I think The Ringer is funny and sweet.

What is your all time favorite love story? And it doesn't have to be a romantic love story either.

between the lines 27 Dresses. As cliched as the movie is, I just love the couple.

One movie you think everyone should watch?

message 1299: by Sorrel (new) - rated it 5 stars

Sorrel Um... Penelope because it's fun to watch and is a beautiful story and it puts across a great message about beauty and what you think of yourself.
One film you regret seeing because it was so bad?

message 1300: by Kelseyc (new) - rated it 5 stars

Kelseyc I can't recall I have but I know someone who watched Across the Universe and had to stop watching it.

Paperback or hardcover? And price cannot be taken into account.
