Needmorebooks ice cream. duh -_- haha!

pet peeve about writing/plots?

between the lines I hate it when authors use too many words to describe the same thing. And if there is too much of detail of a room or surroundings unless it is an important part of the story, I don't think we need to know about the pale pink frills on the curtain. I don't know if any of you read it by in Thirteen Reasons Why there is so much of crap about this rocket in a park that my friend stopped reading it. It is a pity since the book is really good.

What according to you is the most irritating cliché?

message 653: by Sandra =) (new)

Sandra =) A popular guy protagonist and an ordinary girl ... blah blah. XD

What song do you think fits the story The Truth about Forever?

between the lines Well, no song that I know has remotely anything to do with the story but I guess I Gotta Find You by Joe Jonas. It isn't exactly the perfect song but the best I could thing think of. By the way, that was a really good question!

I want to know what others think about this so I'm gonna ask the same thing again.

What song do you think captures the feelings and emotions of The Truth About Forever?

message 655: by Needmorebooks (last edited Jun 11, 2013 11:10AM) (new) - rated it 5 stars

Needmorebooks yea, i think its a really great question :)

I think maybe Everything Has Changed by Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran. Or maybe Perfect by Hedley. oh and if you haven't heard these songs before, i think you should check them out cause they're really good :)Like Summer Breeze said, i don't know a song that really goes with the story, but these are sorta close i guess.

do you like love triangles in stories? Or would you rather that the main character just sticks to one guy?

message 656: by Ella (new) - rated it 5 stars

Ella I don't like love triangles. Except in a few exceptions when the author does a nice job. (Most authors don't a good job with them. THG, Delirium, just to name a few. [Those are series, I know, not authors.]) But Rachel Hawkins does a nice job.

Do you prefer stories like Gail Carson Levine's (Ella Enchanted, Two Princesses of Bamarre, Fairest, Ever) or Suzanne Collin's?

Needmorebooks I haven't read much of Gail Carson Levine, so I'll go with Suzanne Collins, but I really think she's too overrated since THG came out.

are you having exams now or are they already done? (I've got one this week and next week, and I'm procrastinating like crazy!)

message 658: by Ella (new) - rated it 5 stars

Ella We had exams May 24th through May 30th.

What is your favorite break from school? (THanksgiving, winter, spring, summer, MLK, Memorial Day, etc.?)

message 659: by Needmorebooks (last edited Jun 11, 2013 07:31PM) (new) - rated it 5 stars

Needmorebooks Definitely Summer break! For us, its 2 months long and just plain awesome! i always have so much fun!

message 660: by Ella (last edited Jun 11, 2013 08:48PM) (new) - rated it 5 stars

Ella I love Fanta. And milk.

What makes you the most self-conscious? (Acne, bad hair day, weight, intelligence [or the lack of, which I don't think is the case with you], (lack of) manners, etc.?)

message 661: by Sandra =) (new)

Sandra =) Oh! I'm very much introverted. And, so, I am extremely conscious of whatever I wear, how I look, and what people might think/thinking of me/what I am doing ... like ... most of the time! :) And, often, I end up over-thinking and will start feel awkward. :)

Have you wore a headgear before? (Me? Never. :) )

between the lines Nope. Never.

One fashion trend you think is ridiculous? (Coloured jeans, nail art, tiny hats, etc)

message 663: by Sandra =) (new)

Sandra =) Korean Pop fashion. Cute, but kind of way OVER. XD

Who's the hottest hollywood celebrity for you?

Needmorebooks Looks wise, I really like Zac Efron :D
but music/skills wise, i love Ed Sheeran so much! <3

Do you have any siblings? If so, do they ever annoy you?

message 665: by Grace (new) - rated it 5 stars

Grace Yes I have 4 siblings and they annoy me all the time. Especially my little sister and, at the moment, my older brother.(My brother just spilled nail polish in my hair :/)

Have you ever seen the notebook, and if so, do you like it?

between the lines I have neither seen nor read it. I want to though.

Favourite ice cream flavour?

message 667: by Sandra =) (new)

Sandra =) Heavy chocolate with a lot of marshmallows. :)) Yum!

The most beautiful girl/woman you've ever seen?

between the lines Either Anna Hathaway or Cobbie Smulders

between the lines One person you are jealous of and why?

message 670: by Rene (new) - rated it 5 stars

Rene Well at this exact moment I am slightly jealous of Elizabeth Olsen, purely for the fact that she is beautiful and successful, and I am perfectly aware of how shallow this sounds.

message 671: by Grace (new) - rated it 5 stars

Grace Do you want kids?

message 672: by Ella (new) - rated it 5 stars

Ella Yes, when I'm older and married.

What is your favorite name?

between the lines Yes. I am gonna be 16 this year so it is kinda weird for me to say that and in fact I probably would have never admitted it to anyone but the name of this game is Truth, so yeah, I want kids. I'm thinking two but I don't know.

One decision or choice you were really sure of but ended up being a very bad one?

Needmorebooks My favorite name (for some bizarre reason) is Katherine. IDK why - i don't even know anyone by that name, but i just love the way it sounds :)

Same question as above: One decision or choice you were really sure of but ended up being a very bad one?

message 675: by Sorrel (new) - rated it 5 stars

Sorrel The high school I picked. I'm not sure that it's a very bad choice but I wish I thought more about it.
What is your favourite word?

Needmorebooks supercalifragilisticexpialidocious :D

Autumn Yuppers
Q- What's the funniest joke you've ever heard?

message 683: by Ella (new) - rated it 5 stars

Ella This is kind of lame, but I can't remember any better ones right now:
Why aren't you allowed to throw NaCl at people?
Because it's a salt! (Sounds like assault...) (NaCl is sodium chloride, which is your basic table salt.)

Where would you least want to live?

message 684: by Autumn (new) - rated it 4 stars

Autumn A sewage

Q- What's your most embarrissing hobby?

message 685: by Ella (new) - rated it 5 stars

Ella Being a pack-rat. I save everything. I have all my school papers from 4th grade. I have all my stuffed animals (even though I never really even played with them). And more...

Have you ever lost something and then you find it a few years later? (For example, I lost this bookmark of mine in 6th grade, and I always wondered where it went. Yesterday my mom and I were in the basement packing books (we're moving this summer), and I happened to look inside one book, and the bookmark was there! (I'm going to be in 10th grade next year.) It's one of those that it changes at whichever angle you look at it, so it has these horses galloping. Finding it made my day.)

message 686: by Autumn (new) - rated it 4 stars

Autumn Yeah, I lost this necklace my friend gave me then I found it about 3 years later. Ops!

Q~ Have you ever dumped someone via E-mail?

message 687: by Ella (last edited Jun 13, 2013 03:17PM) (new) - rated it 5 stars

Ella Nope, never had a boyfriend. Proud to be single! I don't think I'm old enough yet to be dating.

How many significant someones have you had?

Needmorebooks None - I haven't had any either

do you want a boyfriend?

message 689: by Grace (new) - rated it 5 stars

Grace No and I won't for a good many years. I mean come on! What thirteen year old needs a boyfriend?

Do you like neons or pastels more?

Needmorebooks pastels - i think they're just gorgeous!

favorite way to pass time?

message 691: by Ella (new) - rated it 5 stars

Ella Goodreads. Or read. Or watch Doctor Who.

Least favorite chore?

between the lines Grocery Shopping.

One law/rule that you broke?

message 693: by Ella (new) - rated it 5 stars

Ella My parents telling me not to read. Most parents would dream of a kid like me, who wants to read (all the time), but no, my parents ban me from reading.

Favorite chore?

Needmorebooks Ella - haha! I know what you mean. the same thing happens to me!

My favorite chore is reorganizing stuff - anything like cabinets or drawers or whatever. not sure if that even is a chore, but its pretty fun compared to vacuuming or whatever.

least favorite subject teacher?

message 695: by Ella (new) - rated it 5 stars

Ella My least favorite teacher? Umm, can I go back to 6th and 8th grade? The art teacher was really scary. She tried to make us like her, but she was evil. Her son taught art in the elementary school I had gone to before middle school, and he was amazing, but she was scary! She made me cry one day. Most people just hated her. I was just scared of her.

Least favorite school subject?

(Needmorebooks, don't you wish us book nerds would have normal parents who don't punish us for reading. My parents also punish me for doing homework [when it's late]! And they sometimes punish me by saying I'm not allowed to do my homework. [That gets me to freak out!])

Needmorebooks I've always disliked science - earth sciences in particular. its just never clicked with me.

sticking to the school topic, what's your favorite memory so far ever from school?

(Ella - i know right? same here! Life's funny that way. haha!)

between the lines you guys are not the only ones there. My parents try to buy all these outdoorsy stuff like skipping ropes and basketballs so I would go out and play while my friend's parents gifted her books and amazing novels. Parents are just weird, sometimes.

Anyway, my least favourite subject is geography and its just so boring but at least it is easy.

Most horrible school memory?

between the lines Oh,well. My favourite school memory happened last year. It was tenth grade and the last year for all of us and our school took us to Batman The Dark Knight Rises. The movie was awesome and we had a lot of fun and it rained while we were coming back. It was a really special memory for us as it was the last movie we went together with most of our classmates.

Same question as before, worst school memory?

message 699: by Imani (new) - rated it 4 stars

Imani worst school memory...had 2b when I had 2 make a speech in one of my classes in high school. I did really well but that's not the point. I was sick and nervous 2 death about it. I haaaate public speaking but thank God it went over well. but still x__X

worst book u've ever read?

message 700: by Ella (last edited Jun 13, 2013 11:13PM) (new) - rated it 5 stars

Ella Best memory- In 6th grade, pretty much all my friends were in my R/LA class, and everyone in that class was really nice, and the teacher was amazing. The teacher had this squishy (silicon or rubber) ball with the strands sticking out, I think it's supposed to be like a stress reliever. Well, we were allowed to be outside that day during that class, and our class was at the very end of the hallway, and there are 4 swings right outside. So a few of my friends and I got on the swings, and some others rolled the ball towards our feet, and we kicked the ball, and they tried to catch it. It was really, really fun! (The ball got really dirty, though.)

Horrible memory- This jerk kept on bulling me in 4 of my classes, none of the teachers did nothing about it, until one day I started crying in math class, and this nice guy behind me asked for help (which he did 10 times every day, even though he doesn't need it, he's just too lazy to think), so I was crying, I just turned and looked at him and asked/intensely-whispered "Why doesn't he leave me alone?" (he in the sentence=bully/jerk) and the guy just behind me looked shocked that I was crying and pretty much shrunk and said "I'm sorry." (He misheard me.) So I feel bad because I made him feel bad, so I turn around and say "not you, ____" (_____=bully/jerk's name). Well, good thing that came about it was that I was still crying when I got to English (well, that's bad, and embarrassing), but my amazing English teacher pulled me into the hallway and squeezed the truth out of me, (I'm the type of person that when something like this happens, "What's wrong?" I respond, "I'm fine, I just can't stop crying.") and later that day had him sent to the office to talk to the guidance counselor, so it wasn't as bad anymore. But I also missed part of a really nice lesson (this student writer was talking about one of his pieces in that class). :(

Worst book I've read... Wuthering Heights? Or Oliver Twist? Or one of the books (that I read) in the Private series? Or one of the books (that I read) in Pretty Little Liars series? I don't know.

If you were to work in a school, what job would you want there?
