Yesterday, I worked from eleven in the morning until one in the morning. Then I was back again this morning.
On the bright side, they just cut hours, although they didn't cut mine too much. So... Less work! But still money!
...I was nominated? Why? Who did this? *headdesk* I don't know how I feel about this...
@ T Most of the time when you get into a verbal skirmish. I am not on here. I do have a life and multiple projects in the works. Tbh you instigate and/or escalate a lot of your "fights." I usually catch the tail end when everything has died down or end up reading it hours later. And why are you not bringing this up in DA in the complaint topic? I will in fact be there if you wish to continue this conversation.

I thought the idea of having interviews was great. Though reading over some of these, I'd have to say I'm rather appalled at the turn it's taken.
It's become nothing more than an opportunity to question and or humiliate ppl by asking about their sexual needs, wants and desires.
Richard Idt this is what you intended when you came up with this idea. & Yeah I realize these ppl have to right to not answer these questions, but why ask them to begin with? I can tell it's quite uncomfortable for some. That's just my opinion, thought I'd throw it out there, not that it matters.
....I was just expressing my feelings on it. I had a feeling that others may share the same view.
That's the reason why I didn't want to be nominated in the first place. I'm just glad I'm not on this month's poll. I liked Djinn's interview at DA. It was good.
@NateIt's more for the humor of it than anything. We don't expect any of it to really be taken seriously. At least, I don't. Go ahead and ask me your sexual questions...I'll probably lie anyway.
idk maybe I'm just being ...whatever but I've been raised to respect girls, and that its not appropriate to ask and or talk about certain topics. At least not in such a crude fashion. Yeah I joke around and go to the gutter quite often but I don't come out and ask a girl about double penetration and other things that quite frankly are non of my (or anyone else's) business. The purpose of these interviews as I understand it, was to get to know ppl...what exactly are you trying learn about that person by asking such questions? What purpose does it serve you to know what they do or don't do in the bedroom? It's just uncouth and uncalled for.
@NateTo be perfectly honest, I totally agree with you. I stopped reading Ira's interview after a couple posts. Respecting the ladies is paramount.

1) A sign of respect to me is being honest. (Thank you all for your honesty.) I do not lie nor do I beat around the bush. the next two signs of respect for me have to do with the the debate it self; One stand up for yourself Two do what you are asked. Now I want you all to look at the interviews so far. Including Djinn's in DA. Point out one time when anyone asked him to stop. There is only one. And that's Boss's. She told him to stop and he has.so if you want him to stop asking you questions that are perverted? Ask him to. He will. If he doesn't you let me know. I'll handle it.
2) So you all think asking women perverted questions is wrong because...? I have a huge problem with the entire idea. Because that is some bullshit. The greatest respect I show to women is being me. I am perverted, I am loud, I am rude, and I swear like a sailor. I do not change because someone in the room has tits and a pussy. Now if said someone with tits and a pussy asks me to tone it down a little I will. But until it is asked I'm going to be me. Champ is the same way. (By the way some of the most perverted people I know... are women.)

a. These interviews are meant to help us better understand each other and each other’s writings and styles. This will hopefully make the whole group friendlier and hopefully improve our own work.
b. They are not meant to be invasive in anyway. So if you are chosen by the group to be interviewed. You may decline to answer any question or decline to take the interview at all.
c. If the winner declines to be interviewed the runner up will be interviewed instead.
a) I’m not getting how knowing what someone’s sexual likes and dislikes is going to help me understand their writing and the style? (Unless they’re writing erotica) Nor do I understand how this will improve my own writing.
b)I think asking someone about their sexual rituals and experiences IS invasive. (Yes I understand they can deny to answer- but why ask to begin with?)
If your intention and purpose of these interviews is simply to determined how far a person will go, where they draw the line btw what they share and what’s too personal than perhaps you should rename these interviews – “How far will you go?” or something of that nature.
I feel safe in saying that of all those that have been interviewed thus far (with the exception of Done) probably didn’t expect that line of questioning.

Idk dude, we’ve obviously been raised very differently, I can be rude and obnoxious as well but coming out and asking those types of crude, obscene questions to females is something I find highly disrespectful and I honestly don’t see the need for it.

I also agree that yeah, some girls can be just as if not more so, crude than guys…and if you get the sense that’s she’s that type and cool with it, fine, by all means carry on. But in general I find that most girls aren’t that open, and are highly embarrassed and uncomfortable with such conversations.
You conduct whatever type of interview you wish, though I think to be fair you may want to let ppl know up front just what type of questioning they may be in for.
I’m not trying to be a jerk or stir up trouble it’s just like I said I don’t think that this is what most members had in mind when the suggestion to hold these interviews was presented, it took a totally different turn other than what I expected and I don’t think I’m alone in that…but idk maybe I am. I've been raised with old fashion values and morals and even though I balk at them and argue wtih my parents about their outdated views on certain things...I had a hard time with this.
....I know how I'd react if someone spoke to Cassie, or my mum or sister like this.

Even with the mention of sex and everything under the sun..I still don't think ppl thought they'd be asked questions about oral sex, double penetration and other person, private things...again I might be totally wrong.
I thought at the most they might ask about your first kiss, wheather or not you've had any sexual experience but nothing too involved.

It may have been Champ asking the questions, though it is Richards group and it was his idea for the interviews ...I just think that if this line of questioning is ok than Richard should make that crystal clear from the get go.
